  • Overview

Spend a day touring Victoria's favourite peninsula & bath in relaxing hot springs with amazing views!

Time to hit the highway with our small group (max 8 guests) and make our way to the idyllic Mornington Peninsula. Our first stop is the summit of Arthur’s Seat where we’ll share panoramic ocean views and a bite of morning tea. This is just a taste of things to come.

We move onto Bushrangers Bay for an 8km return hike featuring unreal coastal scenery, rocky bays, wild oceans, and one picturesque lighthouse. Spot local kangaroos and listen to the songs of native birds as we wander along the undulating path. After we return from our first hike, we will head to Cape Schanck for a smaller walk along the boardwalk.

To refuel, we stop at Merchant & Maker for lunch—this cafe has held the title of ‘Best Cafe’ on the Mornington Peninsula for three years running (and we can see why).

Our final stop, Peninsula Hot Springs which is an award-winning natural hot spring and outdoor day spa destination. It’s the perfect way to end a great date with nature! (Bathing time 2h)

TLDR; Hide & Seek Delivered a Professional and Memorable Tour of Wilson Promontory National Park. Hide & Seek tour company provided exceptional service from start to finish. Upon arrival, Michael greeted us with a warm welcome and a cup of coffee, and provided us with a detailed itinerary for the day. The tour commenced with a hike to the Big Drift, followed by a stop for a quick bite to eat, and then a hike to the top of Mt Oberon. The day ended at Squeaky Beach, where we were treated to a little safari to see kangaroos, wombats, and emus. Michael, our knowledgeable guide and smooth driver, added to the experience. He shared his expertise on the environment and ensured we had a memorable time. The group size was small, with a maximum of eight people in a spacious van, which enhanced the overall experience. The only downside was that Michael was finishing up his last tour for a while, but we highly recommend Hide & Seek tour company for anyone visiting Wilson Promontory National Park. Overall, this tour deserves a 10/10 rating for their exceptional service, knowledgeable guide, and memorable experience.

We were lucky to have had Lorinda as our guide on back-to-back tours to the Great Ocean Road and Phillips Island. The tours were well organized, comfortable, and a great value. Absolutely amazed at Lorinda’s ability to spot wildlife - we saw no fewer than 10 koalas.

Had an absolutely great time out at the Grampians with Hike & Seek. Our tour guide Marcus was an absolute pleasure enthusiastic, friendly and informative. The small groups also give you a great opportunity to really get to know your fellow tourists. Recommend for anyone looking to get out on some amazing hikes without the stress of organising travel, snacks and company 🤙

I took part in 2 hike&seek tours over my long weekend in Melbourne (the “Great Ocean Road” and the “Grampians”). I absolutely loved the Great Ocean Road - Tour, even though the weather wasn’t great (cold, cloudy, rainy & even haze with just a little bit of sun here and there). Lunch (not included) was delicious and the place they take you to has a unique Charme. It was only 5 tourists (incl. me) and 2 guides on the tour & the vibe was amazing. I would recommend that tour 100%. I personally didn’t love the Grampians AS much. I had originally booked the Wilson’s Promontory - Tour, but it was cancelled the night before because the minimum number of bookings had not been reached. So, I was offered the Grampians-tour instead (or different dates which didn’t work for me). I already figured the tour wasn’t the perfect match for me based on the pictures and description of it (also because I was so hyped to go to Wilson’s promontory). This is completely subjective and has nothing to do with the organization of the tour. I just didn’t love the Grampians themselves (everything was a little too dark for my taste) and the food at the lunch-place. The guide was really great and the other tourists super nice tho. So, long story short, I would definitely go on tours with hike&seek again and recommend them highly to everyone.
