6 months agoWe went on the Great Ocean Road via this tour company and the experience was amazing. Our tour guide was Craig. He was a great tour guide and being a local of the Great Ocean Road itself, he provided us detailed information of the places. He shared his childhood memories at different spots and gave us ample amount of time at each spot. We also got to know that he had visited somewhere around 140 countries, so having the first hand experience of being a tourist, he knew what we (tourists) wanted. Thankfully, we were one of the first groups to sit on the newly purchased big bus by the company. The bus had big leg space and wide windows, which allowed us to enjoy the view. The day started at 7:30 am and ended around 9 pm. The 14 hour journey was amazing.

11 months agoI just got back from Philip Island with Daniel for the day. I'd originally booked for the "Penguin Plus" experience, but got a call from Autopia yesterday saying that the centre had run out of tickets, so I would only be able to get general admission. This was unfortunate, but the lady on the phone was very apologetic, and offered me a refund of the extra price (which I took), or to rebook on another day. I also received a goodwill voucher code for another tour. On the tour itself, our guide (Daniel) had a note on his clipboard that I was originally booked for Penguins Plus. It was really nice to know that Autopia wanted to fix it. Throughout the day, he did everything he could to try to get me a ticket, and managed to find that someone had cancelled a ticket last minute that I could upgrade to! It's things like this that make a great tour company stand out from a good tour company. Even with a bus of 20 people, I didn't feel like "just another tourist". The rest of the tour was great too, seeing koalas, wallabees and of course the penguins! I would definitely recommend

4 months agoA great and long day out at Litchfield with Autopia Darwin! Sadly, as it was wet-season a lot of areas were shut down due to the weather, not something the company could affect but we recommend to do this during the dry-season to get the full experience. Andrea was a lovely tour guide, hope she stays long with this team so more people can enjoy her commentary and love for the outback!

a week agoThe day tour from Darwin to the Kakadu National Park was amazing! Our tour guide Robbie was the best! He was very knowledgeable, fun and passionate at his job! Couldn't ask for anyone better! We also booked the tour with jumping crocodiles with was a great addition. I can highly recommend the tour!

a week agoWe were on the 4 day Kakadu tour. We had an unfortunate start, as our plane was delayed 24 hours, which meant we missed the entire first day. Fortunately Autopia Tours helped us arrange new transport all the way from Darwin to Kakadu so we could catch up with the group the next day, which was such amazing service of them, as we could’ve risked loosing the entire tour. One of their guides named Tim who was “off-duty” got to be our driver and drove us in the middle of the night. It was a comfy ride and Tim was a super laid back and nice fella, who told us all about the areas we were passing by. When we arrived in the early morning we joined our amazing group and got to meet our guide for the tour - Richard. We had the most unforgettable and most beautiful 3 days of our lives and it was all thanks to Richard, who is probably the best guide we’ve ever had on any vacation. Richard is such a funny and humble guy, and he really goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having a good and fun time. He had lots of great stories to tell about all of the places we went to and even took us to a few “secret spots”, which wasn’t on the itinerary - including some hot springs, which was one of the highlights of the entire tour in our opinion. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour, and we owe a big thanks to; Our group, Autopia tours, Tim and Richard for providing such awesome service and an adventure of a lifetime.
