Thank goodness for North Port- missed our ferry in Fremantle and so dashed to catch it at North Port.

I made a mistake while booking my trip to the island and I asked for a refund on the amount as I'm traveling and will not return to wa. They refused to refund my money, and now I'm stuck with a 30 dollar credit I can't use... I believe that's illegal in australian consumer law :(

Rottnest Express is the largest ferry service provider from Perth to Rottnest Island via Fremantle. I personally love this company for their awesome customer services. The following size and weight restrictions are in place to comply with health and safety regulations. Luggage exceeding specified sizes may not be transported or delivered.

Single pieces of luggage up to 22kg and no larger than 800mm x 500mm x 400mm can be stowed in our vessels’ luggage crates free of charge.
Single carry-on items must be no larger than 600mm x 400mm x 300mm. There are no luggage storage facilities in passenger areas: anything taken onboard must be accommodated on your lap so as not interfere with other passengers.
No ‘piggy-backing’ of luggage is permitted (eg attaching a sleeping bag to a suitcase).
The Passenger is liable for the full replacement or repair cost of any hired bicycle or snorkel equipment that is lost or damaged. Example repair/replacement costs are:

(i) Excessive wear on bike tyres $15
(ii) Loss of helmet $30
(iii) Bent bike forks $40
(iv) Buckled bike rim $30
(v) Bike frame damage $250
(vi) Lost/ Stolen bike $250
(vii) Loss of Snorkel set $55
(viii) Damage to snorkel set $25

Cancellation Policy

Rottnest Express does not offer cash refunds. For any cancellations, a credit note with one year validity will be issued. Please contact our office before your scheduled departure time for any cancellations.
