In the late 1950s Alan Kitcher sailed though the heads of Fremantle Harbour in a 42ft wooden hulled launch ‘The Temeraire’. He had brought her, along with his family, from Albany to begin a new business venture; a regular passenger transport ferry service from Perth to the holiday island of Rottnest.

10 months agoThank goodness for North Port- missed our ferry in Fremantle and so dashed to catch it at North Port.

6 years agoI made a mistake while booking my trip to the island and I asked for a refund on the amount as I'm traveling and will not return to wa. They refused to refund my money, and now I'm stuck with a 30 dollar credit I can't use... I believe that's illegal in australian consumer law :(

7 years agoRottnest Express is the largest ferry service provider from Perth to Rottnest Island via Fremantle. I personally love this company for their awesome customer services. Their operation and management is remarkable and the experience during the travel is out of the sky. I love to travel with them again and again and again :) :) :) Thank you
