• Families with small children are suitable for this activity providing they are 4 years and over. There is a middle seat in the doubles that can accommodate a child 4-7 years approx.
• If you are hiring for a full day it is best to do some preparation before hand e.g. consider food, water, bring thongs, sun cream, hat etc.
• It is important to keep in mind that it is likely to be sunny and there is a likelihood of getting wet. Meaning that shorts, hat, long sleeve shirt and sun screen will make your experience more enjoyable.
• Double kayaks are faster, more stable but less independence compared to a single kayak.
• Please advise us before hand if you are over 190 cm tall or over 110kg in weight. We can then place you in the right kayak.
• A child of between 4 and 13 years must be in a double kayak with an adult, in their own seat and not on the adults lap.

• If you are unable to attend your course on the day you have booked we will endeavour to reschedule you to a later time with no penalty fee, given sufficient notice.
  
• Refunds will only be granted for medical reasons and must be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate.
  
• A $10 administration fee will be deducted from any refund.
  
• Prior to 14 days before the course refunds will be full (less $10 administration fee).
  
• Between 7-14 days of the course a cancellation fee of 25% will be deducted from the refund.
  
• Within 7 days of the course no refund will be issued as staffing is still requiring to be remunerated unless sufficient medical documentation is supplied.
