If you're short on time and looking for the quickest and most effective way to get to the beautiful, unspoiled Fitzroy Island, this half day option includes ferry transfers from Cairns and allows you some time for a sleep in!
Unlike smaller coral cays or sandy islands on the Great Barrier Reef, Fitzroy was once part of mainland Australia. The island is largely untouched and a protected National Park, with walking tracks through the rainforest, heathland and open forest to Nudey Beach and the Summit.
This package includes a glass-bottom boat hire. Stay dry and book a ride around the island to see some of the best coral reefs around the island. Spot sea turtles and colorful fish as you are guided by our expert staff.
Hire snorkel gear and explore the fringing coral reefs in both Welcome Bay and Nudey Beach, with hard and soft corals only meters from the shore.
SEASONAL RATES:
Return transfers onboard a motorised catamaran. Activity Pass includes SNORKELLING GEAR & GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TOUR. No lunch included. Your choice of departure times, either 8:30AM or 10:45AM and return to Cairns at 5PM.
