Of all the great whales, the Humpback is the most surface active displaying behaviour that will not only inspire you but leave you in awe. There quite clearly is no better place to observe the mighty Humpback Whales than Brisbane’s Moreton Bay, acknowledged as one of the world’s best whale watching destinations in the world.
Your Captain Kerry Lopez, is recognised as the only female Captain that owns and skippers a whale watching venture in the South Pacific rim. Kerry's skilled and dedicated friendly crew will assure you an unforgettable whale watching adventure.
Enjoy a beautiful, gourmet picnic lunchbox as you look on in awe as these amazing gentle giants relax in your company, breach, blow and play all within meters from the boat. Located 30 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula, we are pleased to offer guests a luxury full day’s whale watching adventure on the magnificent vessel 'Eye Spy'.
If you are staying in the city of Brisbane, we offer a bus transfer package that picks up from all major hotels. This is by far the easiest way as Brisbane Whale watching has its own 22 seater bus and is available to pick you up and transfer you from your hotel, back packer lodge or accommodation house in the Brisbane CBD direct to our high speed luxury vessel 'Eye Spy.'
After your cruise, the bus will be there ready and waiting for your comfortable return back to your original destination.

9 months agoWe had a great day out on the boat. We saw loads of whales, dolphins, turtles and even a few sharks. The staff were amazing. The Captain Kerry was so informative. The food provided for lunch was great. I have to specially mention staff member Loz (i hope i got the right staff member) she went above and beyond to help my daughter throughout the cruise yesterday. We really appreciated all her help.

6 months agoI recently had the pleasure of going on a whale watching trip with Brisbane Whale Watching, and I can't recommend it enough! My family and I had an incredible time onboard their awesome vessel. The food was delicious, and the staff were highly informative, adding to the educational aspect of the trip. We were incredibly lucky to witness an abundance of whales, making the experience even more memorable. As we live on the north side of Brisbane, departing from Redcliffe was very convenient for us, and it turned out to be a fantastic day. I would give Brisbane Whale Watching a solid 5 stars for providing us with an unforgettable adventure!

9 months agoWe went as a family of 5 and had a great time for the most of it! We saw some beautiful and breathtaking humpbacks whales and a few calves as well! The crew on board were very helpful and very insightful, especially when it came to knowing when to back off and leave the pods alone and when they could approach. The only things I would suggest to look at would be to address the boat boarding time. We noticed a lot of people still trying to board at 9:50 even though the booking was for 9am. I understand that you’d want everyone to be there however, I didn’t think it was overly fair to everyone who was there on time, that then had to wait on board for almost an hour. Also, I understand seasickness is out of your control, however, a little more education on it prior to leaving might be helpful.. we saw a lot of people throwing up which wasn’t the best of views 😅. But all in all, those were such small things, we did have a great time and we will try again next whale season 🥰
