Location

If you are staying in the city of Brisbane, we offer a bus transfer package that picks up from all major hotels. This is by far the easiest way as Brisbane Whale watching has its own 22 seater bus and is available to pick you up and transfer you from your hotel, back packer lodge or accommodation house in the Brisbane CBD direct to our high speed luxury vessel 'Eye Spy.'

After your cruise, the bus will be there ready and waiting for your comfortable return back to your original destination.

We had a great day out on the boat. We saw loads of whales, dolphins, turtles and even a few sharks. The staff were amazing. The Captain Kerry was so informative. The food provided for lunch was great. I have to specially mention staff member Loz (i hope i got the right staff member) she went above and beyond to help my daughter throughout the cruise yesterday. We really appreciated all her help.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a whale watching trip with Brisbane Whale Watching, and I can't recommend it enough! My family and I had an incredible time onboard their awesome vessel. The food was delicious, and the staff were highly informative, adding to the educational aspect of the trip. We were incredibly lucky to witness an abundance of whales, making the experience even more memorable. As we live on the north side of Brisbane, departing from Redcliffe was very convenient for us, and it turned out to be a fantastic day. I would give Brisbane Whale Watching a solid 5 stars for providing us with an unforgettable adventure!

A once in a lifetime adventure. The boat was great and tidy and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly and to top it off a nice lunch. A wonderful day to spend with the family.

We went as a family of 5 and had a great time for the most of it! We saw some beautiful and breathtaking humpbacks whales and a few calves as well! The crew on board were very helpful and very insightful, especially when it came to knowing when to back off and leave the pods alone and when they could approach. The only things I would suggest to look at would be to address the boat boarding time. We noticed a lot of people still trying to board at 9:50 even though the booking was for 9am. I understand that you’d want everyone to be there however, I didn’t think it was overly fair to everyone who was there on time, that then had to wait on board for almost an hour. Also, I understand seasickness is out of your control, however, a little more education on it prior to leaving might be helpful.. we saw a lot of people throwing up which wasn’t the best of views 😅. But all in all, those were such small things, we did have a great time and we will try again next whale season 🥰

Please note that the mid deck section is available to all guests however the PREMIUM experience guarantees you the window table benefit with the above inclusions. As per Eye Spy's Seating Plan (main deck), all tables seat 6 guests and tables maybe shared between bookings. No exclusivity is guaranteed. If you have place a booking including Infants, please note that no seat will be allocated unless they are charged as a Child. (Infants will be charged $30.00 for the bus transfer service.)
As an Eco Accredited Company, we believe that providing people with an opportunity to witness these amazing creatures first hand, not only puts a lot of smiles on guests faces but offers an increased awareness of the beauty of nature and the need to nurture our precious wildlife.
Dress warmly and wear flat shoes. If you wish to spend time on the outside decks of our vessel, you may like to wear a light waterproof wind-jacket.
MV Eye-Spy has been purpose built to specifications to ensure maximum comfort for whale watching. However, should you if you are susceptible to motion or seasickness, motion-sickness tablets are available on board.
There is an all day free car park located opposite the Redcliffe Police Station, just 100 metres north of the Redcliffe Jetty which is our departure point.

Cancellation Policy

Should a cruise be cancelled by the Operator, a seat on the next available cruise will be offered or a full refund given. However should a passenger cancel, cancellation fees apply: Less than 48 hours’ notice or failure to board, 100% of fare is payable. Departure and return times may vary by 30 minutes at Operators discretion.
Please ensure you have provided a correct Australian contact number and valid email address as all our cruises are weather dependent. If we do have to cancel due to weather, one of our friendly operators will be in contact however we need your correct details to do so!
