a month agoOur first time visiting Brisbane so after a full day walking around the city the day before, we fancied a chilled river trip & to see the koalas etc. This was a very enjoyable visit to Lone Pine koala sanctuary which we thoroughly enjoyed. The commentary on the boat was very informative & we thought the sanctuary was great too. Highly recommend!

a week agoWe booked this experience a few days ago, and had a nice river cruise before we got to the Koala Sanctuary itself. The boat left us there for a few horas where we could feed the cangaroos (love that). We would had loved to hug or touch a koala but the tickets are limited and go away very fast. We could see a lot of them at a very short distance. Very cute! There are some other native animals as well in a very natural environment. Staff of the cruise are very nice and helpful, even they waited for us a few minutes when we where late at the dock. Thank you.

2 months agoWe took the return trip from the Koala Sanctuary back to downtown Brisbane. The ship is easy to find at the river edge, just walk down the path from the Sanctuary. At first I was worried about the plastic chair seats but the ride was smooth and the seats were fine. The boat moved fast enough for a nice, cooling breeze which was nice on a hot day. Lots of nice views. A lovely way to see the countryside and the city.

2 months agoWe did the “Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Admission with Brisbane River Cruise,” and I highly recommend! It was well worth it for the relaxing and entertaining river cruise as the means of transportation to and from the sanctuary. Great, informative commentary during the ride, good food and cold drinks available, and such a kind and helpful crew. It was so interesting to learn that this very river cruise has been taking visitors to and from Lone Pine since its opening many years ago! I definitely recommend.

a month agoA pretty long cruise through the Brisbane River to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Beautiful sights along the way with good commentary. Just be aware that during summer the weather is super unpredictable. Rain and sun and wind. Just be prepared with ponchos caps windbreaker.
