This day tour is the experience to try if you're chasing a day on the water that incorporates all of Brisbane's best sights.
Aboard the boat, the sights will be accompanied by an informative commentary about the region and the local landmarks. The cruise will last for 45 minutes until you reach your port of call - the Breakfast Creek Hotel.
Undoubtedly the best way to explore the City. During the cruise you will be entertained by an informative commentary that provides insight into the history of Brisbane and the River today.
The Breakfast Creek Hotel is a popular hotspot for locals and tourists alike and after a short walk from the landing dock. Plating up a range of dishes such as Rump steak, Fish & chips, half smoked chicken plus dietary dishes. It will be hard to leave the Hotel with a rumbling stomach.
From here, you will once again board the MV Neptune to cruise back to the dock at South Bank within the luscious Parklands.
Location: Departure/Return Point: Cultural Centre Public Pontoon Southbank
Access is off Cultural Centre Boardwalk, behind the Art Gallery/ Museum & State Library.
Ensure you arrive 15mins before the experience time for boarding as the cruise will not wait for passengers.

2 weeks agoAmazing informative cruise You can learn a lot about the history of the area There was no space but a quick phone call made sure we could be accommodated. Accidentally booked for too many people. Only realised this while boarding and checking our tickets🫢 There is a great small bar onboard for some snacks and drinks Well worth it

4 months agoSpent a few hours on the Brisbane Rivercat Ferries on Xmas Day 25/12/23 from Toowong Wharf. Beautiful scenery along the way & friendly staff. No issues using my Travelink tap on & tap off card. A pleasant experience for all ages.

10 months agoA great way to see the city from the river! Friendly crew, informative commentary that wasn't overwhelming, and beautiful views. Boat wasn't overcrowded and there was plenty of space. Easy to book online! We didn't try the bar food but food and drinks were available for purchase. A little ways from the street so allow some extra time if you're arriving by car. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brisbane!

a week agoGreat 90 minutes shared by Kiwi and 44yr residents, both for first time. Very informative, good speed and surprising how far up we travelled. Amazing to see historic and recent buildings and green spaces.

9 months agoIf you’re approaching the pontoon from The Edge, go down the steps towards the carpark, keep walking towards the river, and you’ll see a path onto the boardwalk. Superb way to hear and see key parts of the city and its history and really see how much of a beautiful city Brisbane can be!
