We will guide you on this tasting, showcasing six unique Shiraz wines grown, hand-tended and produced on the property. With a philosophy of minimal intervention, we don't blend our wines so each vintage represents the property's terroir. As a cool climate wine area, our Shiraz wines showcase the taste of rotundone, the compound responsible for the peppery aromas and flavours that Grampians Shiraz wines are known for.

3 years agoStaying at The Blue House gave us everything we expected in a relaxing country getaway. From the rolling hills at your doorstep to the serenity of being away from traffic and crowds. All topped off with a hearty home-cooked dinner which was amazing. Close enough to the Grampians and Ararat for a day trip to both of those places. And don't worry about the fact that there's no TV, because you won't need one when you have millions of stars to enjoy at night.

2 years agoJane and Shane were awesome hosts. Close to Ararat for a day trip as well as wineries in the vircinity. The accomodation was comfortable, beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains in the back ground. Enjoyed the lack of technolgy which allowed for more time outdoors.

6 years agoJane & Shane were so warm, friendly and informative about the wine making process when we visited late 2017. During a very generous wine tasting (they even let us taste the grapes!) I discovered a new fave, Nebbiolo. Have already finished our purchases and ordered more online direct from Mountainside Wines website. Thank you, hoping to return soon.
