Leaving from Wentworth, NSW this tour takes you along the iconic Darling-Baaka River, through outback NSW to Bourke and finishing in the historic mining town of Cobar. Visit iconic outback pubs, the Menindee Lakes and renowned local properties. Learn the history of many of the towns, properties and workings of the Darling/Baaka River system.

MEALS
Meals are as shown in the itinerary. The Offroad Tradies offers fully catered tours. These include three main meals for each day on tour. Tour guides hold a current and valid food handlers’ certificate. Some meals are prepared and take place in restaurants, farm stays and pubs.
Any food allergies are required to be noted on the booking form. The Offroad Tradies will do their best to accommodate to these requirements and cannot guarantee cross contamination. The Offroad Tradies are not liable for any illness or death that may occur from food products and/or allergies.
ITINERARY
Accommodation and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond The Offroad Tradies control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.
The Offroad Tradies also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it. The Offroad Tradies make such alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary, safe, or desirable, which may cause delays to tour and activities beyond its control. These include environmental factors.
In case of any appreciable variation in the tour price due to these circumstances, The Offroad Tradies reserves the right to adjust the tour costs, as necessary.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations are required to be made in writing to The Offroad Tradies.

12 months agoJust finished the Victorian High Country tour and cannot recommend it enough. Luke and Curley made the tour feel more like a group of mates travelling than a tour. Great bunch of blokes with lots of knowledge and provided an exceptional 6 days even with inclement weather conditions. From mechanical issues to recovery the boys were always there with a plan to keep things moving. Even land cruisers need a little help sometimes (that snatch will go down in the history books right Luke?) All in all a great tour, excellent countryside and a very friendly atmosphere with new friendships made along the way. I look forward to seeing you on the next tour.

a year agoSIMPSON DESERT TOUR: Their published daily itinerary is a useful reference guide. However, we very quickly became aware that the published itinerary is only one of the possible options for that day. On occasion, this was due to changing circumstances or road conditions/closures etc, which of course is perfectly understandable. However, the tradies also made changes to both routes & destinations from time to time, as they saw fit. In our experience, these changes to the itinerary were always motivated by Luke & Curl's desire to deliver the best possible experience for their guests. We felt safe at all times. All experiences were managed with sensitivity to risk and ensuring that a good time was had by all guests. Luke & Curl are both likeable blokes, easy to be around and easy to get along with. They frequently sought the opinions of guests and always endeavoured to deliver on any special requests, whether that be food or itinerary related. Memorable highlights in the catering department included the serving of hot pies while we visited a lookout on day 1. Then later in the tour, the serving of a spectacular camp oven prepared roast pork meal. At one point, we were surprised to be served impressive hors d'oeuvres prior to dinner. A delicious sunset BBQ on the iconic Big Red was another catering highlight. All in all, the OffRoad Tradies delivered a very special and memorable Simpson Desert experience for us, one that we will treasure for years to come.

2 years agoOur family of four (2 kids - 4yo & 6yo) took part in the Vic/SA Border Track Adventure Tour on the June long weekend. The kids loved every moment of the tour. It is great not having to worry about cooking. Basically set up camp and relax. We got to meet other like minded people on the tour that we now class as friends! This track is a fun experience and one that everyone should tick off their 4x4 bucket list. We are not experienced 4X4 drivers and found that Luke & Curl were very encouraging and walked us through anything we were unsure about. We highly recommend booking a tour with The Offroad Tradies!! In fact we are looking to book the Desert to Dunes Tour next.

a year agoThe High Country tour I just did with these guys was outstanding. They obviously well planned it as the pacing and building of difficulty with the tracks each day was perfect. This was my first catered tour and although I'm normally the bush cook in our trips it was surprisingly nice and relaxing to casually set up camp each night and wander over with the "whats for tea" question and not worry about anything. The high Country was amazing on its own and should be on everyones bucket list. Doing it with the Off Road Tradies just made it super easy. Thanks Luke and Curl! Oh and thanks everyone else on the trip what a great bunch of people!!

a year ago100% recommend these Tradies. Having just recently finished the Victorian High Country tour with the Offroad Tradies I cannot sing their praises high enough! Had the most amazing 4wdriving and camping adventure made perfect by their attentiveness to everyone's needs including dietary needs when it came to preparing gourmet meals for us. Many laughs and great story telling was had around the nightly campfires along with some very funny radio banter. Luke and Curl, thanks so much for creating a memorable trip for us and will definitely be seeing you guys again on another tour. Cheers Anna & David R
