How far is it from Perth to Margaret River?
It’s a 274km journey from Perth to Margaret River. Usually you would allow about three hours to make the drive… However on our Margaret River Three Day Escape we like to break the journey up stopping in at some of the beautiful coastal towns and scenic sites along the way.
How many people is allowed on a tour?
Our tour group sizes for extended tours range two through to 16 people. However, the majority tour groups usually have between 6-12 people.
Are you able to provide overnight tours?
No matter how many days it takes to complete your dream experience, it is achievable. Accommodation will be provided to suit any budget, from camping on the beach watching the romantic sunset or maybe a 5 star hotel with full room service is more of your taste. No detail is left out of completing your ideal tour.

6 months agoWhat a way to explore Margaret River. From the second I was greeted at the van door and introduced to all other members of the tour Neil made me feel very welcome. Neil is so knowledgeable on the local area and his story telling adds something extra that other tours just doesn’t have. We were a small tour and very lucky we all got on so well but this was helped by the way Neil included everyone in conversations and found out where you were from, etc. The food was fabulous every day and the accommodation was perfect. Amazing wineries, coffee, places of interest and pulling the bus over to see whales was a particular highlight. I can’t recommend McLeod tours enough.

5 months agoA wondering introduction to group touring, a small group of 9 and the most wonderful friendly helpful and informative guide you could have hoped for. We were all out at ease and chatting amicably within minutes. A wonderful taste of the area south of Perth. A great variety of local eats with some wonderful food, accompanied by visits to a chocolate factory, a coffee tasting, wine tasting and more. Great points of interest, the Busselton Pier, the meeting of the Southern and Indian Oceans I could go on, wonderful accommodation, lovely personal touches. So very highly recommended. The tourguides/drivers are very knowledgeable and look after the customers very well. We would highly recommend to see this great diverse region with this Company.

2 months agoWe recently did the 3 day tour of Margaret River with McLeod Tours through Journey Beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide Lincoln was excellent, he was knowledgeable and full of stories. The family’s involvement in the history of the Region was insightful. It gave the tour a more personal touch. I would definitely recommend to anyone to doing this tour with this small family business. The food we had at the various stops were all excellent, the Margaret River Beach Resort were we stayed was comfortable and clean. The onsite restaurant is an excellent additional service, means you don’t have to go anywhere for food and drink.
