This tour is designed for customers who wish to have the total flexibility for their McLaren Vale region visit.

Whether it is to visit local Cellar Doors for wine tasting, a picturesque drive to the Fleurieu Peninsula gateway, soaking up the stunning coastline or venturing into the natural landscape – the choice is yours.

Approximately a 45 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and home to more than 80 unique and welcoming cellar doors, boutique breweries and distilleries. McLaren Vale is best known for grape varieties: Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser known Spanish and Italian varieties such as Fiano, Vermentino, Tempranillo and Sangiovese also featured at many of the cellar doors.

The locals call McLaren Vale and the Onkaparinga Region with its magnificent landscape “where the vines meet the sea”.

Itinerary is subject to change without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Best Wine Tours will not be responsible for circumstances out of our control (examples): Traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, weather conditions, airport, bus, train delays or venue closures.
Alcohol Consumption and Smoking
Both alcohol consumption and smoking are prohibited inside the vehicle.
Eskies or Cooler Bags containing alcohol are not permitted to be on tour.
Conduct / Damage / Age
Any person/s whose behaviour impacts negatively on the enjoyment and safety of fellow passengers or the driver may be unable to continue the tour, and in doing so, will be responsible for making their own way to their accommodation at their own cost. The tour guide makes the final decision on this matter – No refunds will be applicable.
Guests who damage, soil or vomit in the car will be charged a fee not less than $250 this will be charged on the spot.
Due to the nature of the tour where we primarily travel to Licensed premises, we will not accept anyone under the age of 18 years.

Cancellation Policy

48 hours prior to the commencement time of the tour = 100% refund of any paid funds.
24 – 48 hours prior to the commencement time of the tour = 50% refund of any paid funds or 50% of total tour cost charged to customers credit card.
24 hours or less prior to the commencement time of the tour 100% retention of any paid funds or 100% of total tour cost charged to customers credit card or invoice raised for payment.

However, if we are able to re-sell your booking before departure, we will offer you a full refund with no costs incurred.
A no show is defined as fifteen (15) minutes past the due time at the pick up address notified on the booking.
In respect of airport pick ups – delayed or cancelled flights will be treated on a ‘case by case’ basis and refunds (if applicable) will be at the total discretion of Best Wine Tours Management.
