A landscape of blue seas and golden sands awaits as you cycle through the streets of Adelaide’s riverbank precinct and follow the inspiring river trails to the beach!
The adventure then continues along the spectacular foreshore to the favorite coastal centers of Henley Beach and Glenelg.
Cycle at a relaxing pace on comfortable bikes and see parts of Adelaide that you wouldn’t ordinarily experience. This fun and engaging outdoor tour also provides an active and alternative way to get to the beach from the City. A great way to explore some of Adelaide’s best must do’s with plenty of picture stops and surprises along the way.
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the river, parks and wetlands as you ride through an 1800’s cemetery, cross under viaducts and bridges and appreciate the serenity of nature in this continually changing landscape. The recently redeveloped Henley Square offers the perfect place to take a break and re-energise.
Departure | 9.00am from the pureSA office located at 111 Franklin Street Adelaide (directly across from the Adelaide Central Bus Station). Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check in.
Finish | 1.30pm at Glenelg. Your return trip to the City is your choice! You can either return at your own leisure via the regular Glenelg to City tram service with the included ticket (40 minute trip) OR choose to come back with the pureSA bus and be back in the City at 2.00pm.

2 years ago22/03/22 - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Adelaide City to Sea Bike Tour. Starting off on Franklin Road near the heart of the city and riding down to the Torrens River and along the bike path all the way out to Henley and then back to Glenelg. A well deserved coffee and cake stop in Henley before the last leg to Glenelg. Lawrence and Chris were fantastic guides and company. The bikes were in fantastic condition unlike us by the end.... Definitely a great way to see the area.

a year agoBooked the Adelaide City to Sea bike tour. Absolutely loved it, Kane our guide was awesome, really friendly and knowledgeable. It’s bike tracks all the way and really nice riding terrain and vistas along the river Torrens all the way to the sea. Highly recommend!

My husband and I regrettably spent far too short a time in Adelaide, however our cycling tour with Matt from Adelaide up to Glenelg was seriously great value, so much fun and so informative. In a short time, we felt that we had good appreciation of the city which guaranteed that we would be returning for a longer visit. Absolutely don’t hesitate – just book and enjoy a AAA rated experience.

3 years agoMy wife and I recently went on the Vines and Victor Eco tour around the Fleurieu Peninsula. It was a birthday present from her to me, and turned out to be one of the best birthdays ever. Uli is the perfect guide; friendly and so knowledgeable. Everything about the day was fantastic. But the standouts would have to be the boat trip from Victor Harbour out to Seal island and then to Encounter Bay to catch up with the dolphins, and the visit to Gemtree Winery with the tour and tasting. A truly memorable day.
