This dive is purely for pleasure. Besides seeing beautiful and fascinating aquatic creatures first hand, You will be swimming amongst the Gold Coasts many species of fish having the opportunity to hand feed them.

What's included?

We are only too happy to pick you up from your Gold Coast accommodation, dropping you back later.
Boarding our boat ‘Discover’ at the lovely Marina Mirage, we travel approx’ 10 minutes north by boat through the Gold Coast waters to the beautiful Wave Break Island. Leaving the boat we head to the island, where we get comfortable wearing & using our SCUBA equipment in the calm shallow waters before heading off on your underwater safari.
After you surface we have snorkel gear aboard & you can take off for a relaxing snorkel or simply lounge about on our boat & enjoy light refreshments.
A certificate is awarded to every diver and this experience will expand your mind, giving you an insight into the goings on of the Gold Coasts underwater world.

1 km South of Seaworld on the Spit, at the marina behind Mariner’s Cove turn left into the car park just before the Marina Mirage shopping centre when you see Hogs Breath Cafe.

Queensland Scuba Diving was amazing! I did my PADI Open Water Course and had Matt as my instructor. A very fun few days learning how to scuba dive, I cannot recommend Queensland Scuba enough! A 10/10 experience, Matt was very thorough and clear in his explanations of the skills and I felt very safe the whole time, even with the poor visibility. Great vibes and good people! This dive is purely for pleasure and no experience is necessary. You will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor throughout the whole dive.

Cancellation Policy

Customers are entitled to a full refund under the following circumstances:-
Customer did not meet the medical requirements on the PADI medical declaration to go Scuba Diving, which is filled out first on the course day.
Customer cancels their dive course within 48hrs prior to departure.
If Queensland Scuba Diving Company cancels the dive trip for any reason. *Refund only valid for participants who arrived for the activity, all no shows will be charged 100% with no refund.

If the customer, for any reason, does not attend any of the scheduled course days that they plan with their instructor they will be required to reschedule their course. If you reschedule before 48hrs of the scheduled course date you will incur a rescheduling fee of $60. If you reschedule within 48hrs of the scheduled course date you will incur a rescheduling fee of $120. If you do not show up on your scheduled or rescheduled course date you will incur a rescheduling fee of $120.

Customers are entitled to a PARTIAL refund under the following circumstances:-
Customers who are unable to complete the required skills/demands of a PADI course on the FIRST day are entitled to a partial refund. Queensland Scuba Dive will keep the cost of the first day $200 and the PADI fees $75. The customer will be refunded a total of $195.

Customers who are unable to complete the required skills/demands of a PADI course on the SECOND day are entitled to a partial refund. Queensland Scuba Dive will keep the cost of the two days $350 and the PADI fees $75. The customer will be refunded a total of $45.

A PADI referral will be given to the customer if he/she ever decides to complete the PADI course with another PADI store at a later date within one year from the course commencement date.
All refunds must be paid back to the same credit card that was used to make payment. If the credit card is not available a refund cannot be given and a gift voucher will be issued for the value of the refund amount.

Customers are NOT entitled to a full refund under the following circumstances:-
PADI fees paid to Queensland Scuba Diving Company for a PADI course (books and registration).
Customer cancels the course on the THIRD day for any reason.
Customer cancels within 48hrs of departure.
ANY customers that have a booking but do not show up WILL be charge 100% with no refund.
