Overview

A PADI open water course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to safely visit the underwater world.

Learn while having fun as your instructor prepares you for the excitement of entry-level diving activities in your local area.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded with your certification. This accreditation enables you to dive anywhere throughout the world to a depth down to a maximum of 18 metres, hire equipment from dive stores, and is valid for life.

What's included?

The PADI Open Water Course is divided into three segments:

Academic training – Gives you the basic principles and knowledge you need for safe and enjoyable diving.
Confined water training – Will teach you the basic skills of diving.
Open Water training – Allows you to demonstrate your skills and practice them in a typical diving environment

Queensland Scuba Diving was amazing! I did my PADI Open Water Course and had Matt as my instructor. A very fun few days learning how to scuba dive, I cannot recommend Queensland Scuba enough! A 10/10 experience, Matt was very thorough and clear in his explanations of the skills and I felt very safe the whole time, even with the poor visibility. Great vibes and good people! All courses commence onboard our FLOATING DIVE SHOP
A minimum of 24hours notice is required for reschedules and 48 hours for cancellations. No refunds for late cancellations or ‘no-shows’.
Once you have commenced this course, you have 12 months to complete the course.

10 years of age or older
Completion of a diving medical statement

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice to cancel your booking and provide you with a refund.
If you contact us inside 48hrs but outside 24 hours of your ride we can reschedule your tour for you for no charge. Within 24 hours, full charges apply and no refunds will be given.
There are no refunds if you no-show or are late for your departure so please ensure you check-in with us at least 30minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
