I recently had the pleasure of visiting Broken Bay Pearl Farm, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The tour provided fascinating insights into pearl farming, and the oyster tasting was simply delightful. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Safety was clearly a priority, as the boat for the tour was steady and ensured a comfortable journey. Overall, I highly recommend Broken Bay Pearl Farm for anyone looking for a unique and enriching adventure.

My husband and I were celebrating our 30th Wedding anniversary and went to Broken Bay Pearl Farm. We learnt so much about pearl farming, we got to taste some delicious oysters and a grazing platter for lunch with amazing views. We finished of our day with a bit of shopping for pearls.

What a great day at Broken Bay Oyster Farm! The access is very convenient and this is a great spot to visit if you're heading up the coast or on its own. Myself and 2 colleagues did a Pearl Discovery Tour which was fantastic! It consisted of an introduction to history of pearl farming in Australia with some fascinating insights around type of oysters that are used for production. Jack, who conducted this part of the tour was super knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. We were then taken to the Oyster farm by boat, the ride was spectacular as you go through scenic waters of Hawkesberry River. Our skipper/guide Chris was amazing, he told us all about the process of farming from growing oysters, seeding them and harvesting pearls. We were then taken back to the Shellar Door for a grading station and learn about 5 qualities of pearls that their value depend on. Cannot recommend Broken Bay Pearl Farm Tours enough! Everyone was very welcoming, passionate about the job and making sure you have a great day.

It was an interesting farm tours and also good for kids learning. Our family enjoyed the pearl & oyster farm tour. For guests who do not rent a car and will travel from central Sydney, you can take the intercity train (CNN) from central Sydney to Hawkesbury River station. It is quite convenient, do not required advance train ticket, just use opal card. Just check the train schedule, it's take about 1hr (only 5 stations). Once you arrive at Hawkesbury River Station, Broken Bay Pearl farm staff will pick you up at the train station. They park the van (with their company printed on the van) very closed the train station, once you exit, you surely can see the van.

Had an amazing day learning about oysters, clams, pearls & the history of the area. We were lucky enough to have a tour to ourselves & our guide John was warm, entertaining & thoughtful. After our boat trip, we sampled freshly shucked Pacific & Sydney Rock oysters which tasted like nothing I’ve ever had before, creamy & fresh! Jack kindly answered my many questions & was super knowledgeable. Well worth a visit for a unique romantic experience or entertainment for the whole family.
