This adventure includes admission into Irukandji and our famous shallows encounter, wading into the lagoons whilst feeding the animals on our sandy beaches. PLUS it includes wetsuit hire and a pair of 'wear and keep' souvenir socks PLUS a complete guided 30 minute Snorkelling Encounter!
Swim out over the deep section with the help of your experienced guide, surrounded by the animals and looking down at the huge (3m) sharks snoozing on the bottom. Suitable for experienced or beginners (must be able to swim without assistance) it includes all the equipment needed and hot showers are available afterwards.
Please note this encounter is only available for participants 12 years of age and older.
Admission, wading in the sandy lagoons with the animals, shark food, wear & keep socks, wetsuit, snorkel, mask, entry into the shallows of the lagoons, interaction with the animals (petting/feeding), entry into the depths of the lagoons (snorkelling), personal attention from the staff & interesting animal talks.
What to bring: Swimmers, towels hats, sunscreen if it is reef friendly, cameras (underwater are permitted)
What not to bring: Non reef friendly suncreams, your own wetsuit (as it could harbour marine-life from the ocean)
Participants must be 12 years old and over.
Sessions run all day from 9am-5pm, arrive by 3.30pm for the full experience however the snorkel only runs twice at this stage- time 9.20am and 2.20pm EACH DAY. Please allow an extra 1.5 hours for the Shallows Encounter after your snorkel.
Please arrive 20 minutes before your snorkel experience so you don't miss out on time in the water.

2 months agoToday we completed the shark experience, a really wonderful experience. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable regarding all the sharks and stingrays. We definitely learnt some new facts about these animals. I would have marked them as 5 star's however dur to the curtains on the change cubicles no covering the gap. The rods were extremely high and the fabric was hard to slide across. Other then that I would recommend this for anyone visiting the area to look at doing.

3 months agoKnowledgeable and friendly staff, very helpful, amazing experience- can pay entrance fee and go ankledeep to feed or addwetsuitand sit down in the water (best for kids) or book an experience where you get to go into the deep part and go under the water with the animals. I did all the above and it was worth the money. Can easily spend half a day there. Climbing frame for children too. Will definitely be going back!

a month agoI came here for the first time ever as I’ve always like sharks and my mum like rays I live in Sydney and love the aquarium there and always wanted to swim in with the sharks but so expensive and saw they had shark and rays that have been rescued and to get in with them and leave so much I hadn’t even know. Was still the best top thing I’ve done here. Thank you guy you’s are amazing ! Keep doing what you’re doing ? (I’m also get a tattoo on Saturday here before I leave to commemorate this joy )

a month agocool place and definitely worth it for the experience. My son and daughter who aren't overly risk takers were patting the sharks and rays with the guidance of the lovely staff which says it all.

2 months agoWe had a fantastic day of learning and interacting with the sting rays, sharks and rays. They were all so beautiful and gentle. All the staff were wonderful and had so much knowledge and statistics to share. We had a chat with the owner on the way out and she shared even more information with us about a sustainable seafood app. Highly recommend visiting
