I recently went on a Gold Coast Whale Watching Cruise, and there were both positive and disappointing aspects of the experience. The boat itself was new, which was a pleasant surprise, as it provided a comfortable and modern setting for the trip. The operator was also very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the start. However, the main purpose of the cruise, the whale watching, left much to be desired. We did spot a whale, but it was at quite a distance, and we couldn't get a close-up view. This was disappointing as we were hoping for a more immersive experience. Despite this, I'm not giving up on whale watching altogether. I plan to try again at the Sunshine Coast in hopes of a more rewarding encounter with these majestic creatures. Overall, while the cruise had its positives, the limited whale sightings left room for improvement.

Highly recommend Kokomo cruises for your next event! We decided to have my sisters 21st with them. It was an amazing way to bring a group of people together and a memorable way to celebrate an event. The staff are so accommodating and friendly, really went out of their way to ensure everyone had a great time. The boat was very spacious with lots of seating and space for food / drinks. The cruise it’s self was absolutely stunning, cruising through the Gold Coast canals watching a sunset was picturesque. To finish the night we all then had a little boogie on the dance floor! I will definitely be hosting more event with Kokomo cruises - so much fun! Thank you for such a great time!

My family had the BEST experience whale watching with Kokomo cruises last Wednesday morning. The boat was small therefore we weren’t tripping over people to get a look and were up close and personal with the whales. We were lucky enough to see a young humpback whale breaching. The crew were amazing and super informative. An experience that will live with my family forever. Thank you so much ❤️

A wonderful morning today on the Humpback Highway! A really comfortable ride out and back on this awesome new boat. Fantastic to get up close and personal on a smaller tour. Highly recommend these guys for your whale watching experience. I clearly didn't read the tour info properly and had a bit of trouble finding them. There is no tour counter at the marina. They are located in the Marina Mirage marina right behind the shopping centre. Look for the Kokomo flag at the entrance to the docks. Heaps of free onsite parking, especially for the 8.30am tour.

This experience was AWESOME!!! We took the first cruise of the day (a modest 8:30am start) and it was just gorgeous. The vessel is new and clean and every seat has a great vantage point for whale spotting and cruising. We spotted the first whale pod very early on in the trip and were lucky to have lots of whale action both to and from our way to the humpback highway! The team are knowledgeable and the craft was comfortable. Def pack water & sunscreen and anti-seasickness tablets if you’re prone! Pics for reference of how close the whales got to us today!!
