Go Ride A Wave provides daily 2 hour surf lessons for beginners at a range of locations in Victoria along the Great Ocean Road and in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Our Great Ocean Road locations include Torquay and Anglesea with Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Coolangatta on the Gold Coast and Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast. We are passionate about Go Ride A Wave, and it is our great pleasure to share the joys of surfing and other outdoor recreation activities with our valued customers. Go Ride A Wave helped to create the surf school industry standards and is a member of the Surfing Australia surf schools. We take very seriously our obligation to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our clients, as well as protecting the environment and other users, while we conduct our activities.

2 months agoMy two sons(15 and 13 yrs old) completed 2 hrs lesson last week and it was their first time to experience surfing. Our reservation was on Sunday originally, but the class management decided to cancel class due to hot weather and crazy crowd beach for safety concern, so we rescheduled to next day class. I think it was very correct decision because the beach was almost empty on Monday so instructors could focus on each student more easily and safely. Before class I thought language may be the problem for kids to understand instruction, and it seems I worried too much because after class, kids were so happy saying surfing is so fun, and two instructors were very patient and explained to them clearly, and also assisted them to stand up on board successfully! Thanks Go Ride a Wave wonderful team!

a month agome and my partner really enjoyed our 3 day course. Well worth every penny. All the instructors were so friendly and knowledgeable and have a clear passion for surf and coaching. We especially enjoyed our session at lorne with Sid yesterday. We were lucky enough to have him just to ourselves as everyone else cancelled and his teaching methods completely changed the game for both of us and we were consistently catching greens. Got some of my first and best waves with a good pop up because of him and we won’t forget it! Very knowledgeable, skilled and a super chilled guy.

2 months agoMy daughter had a lesson here and it was fantastic. She really enjoyed it and learnt alot. The instructors were great and really patient with kids. Equipment was fine and everything worked smoothly. Would definitely recommend for adults and kids.

a month agoA great experience! Got a gift voucher as a present and thought I’d give the lessons a go. Joel was very enthusiastic and engaging. Joel asked me what I wanted from the lesson, in which case I had no idea but have to trying to do some tail slides. So Joel gave some great tips and training methods to try, which was really fun to do. Still got a long way to go but it was pretty awesome to be guided in the right direction. Definitely recommend

2 months agoJoel was the instructor that me and my dad had for that day and he was so sweet and calm. I have already been here a couple of months ago and it was still amazing as I remembered. Joel was like your regular surfer dude. Thanks mate for an amazing lesson. Would recommend, the whole experience is amazing ❤️
