From the moment you take off from Sunshine Coast airport you will have incredible views of Mudjimba Island and Twin Waters.
We will then travel down the beach at 500ft taking in the pristine waters surrounding Maroochy river and Cotton tree before cruising past Alexandra Headlands and flying over the iconic Mooloolaba Beach.
We will show you the Mooloolaba Marina and the spit before cruising around Point Cartwright with magnificent views over the rocks and shoreline. Our experienced pilot will then climb the helicopter to 1000ft and soar over all the canal homes surrounding the area whilst tracking for Buderim then onwards to Bli Bli with views of Bli Bl Castle and the waterpark before tracking to Mount Coolum and Point Arkwright before travelling down the beach at 500ft back to the airport. This is a great way to take a look around the local area and experience the Sunshine Coast from the air.

2 weeks agoMy first ever helicopter ride thanks to my wonderful grandma for taking me. We flew with Rod and he was just exceptional! Very comfortable flight with incredible service and the views of the glasshouse mountains and the coastline were breathtaking. Highly recommend this company.

a week agoIf you’re looking for a helicopter flight whether it be just a quick sightseeing flight or a charter flight I highly recommend Rod and the team at Sunshine Coast Helicopter Tours. We were fortunate enough to fly in the as350 Squirrel on a 40min flight and it was awesome. And don’t skimp on the time you definitely need to do a minimum 40min.

I highly recommend Sunshine Coast Helicopter Tours, it’s such a fun adventure to go on and was the perfect way to end the day.

a week agoFrom booking to the actual flight, it’s a 10/10 recommendation. Booking our flight was so easy - you see all the options and available times, the confirmation came in fairly quickly. The day of, we were warmly greeted and soon met our pilot, Rod; Rod made us feel safe and sound, explained the steps before take-off, pointed out landmarks during the flight, and you just KNOW he knows what he's doing and talking about. It was absolutely great and I wish we could do it again and again.

7 months agoCan’t recommend Sunshine Coast Helicopter Tours highly enough, an absolute must do. Darren is a pleasure to deal with and wealth of knowledge, pointing out landmarks, whales and dolphins and sharing local history of the coast. Definitely recommend landing and having a meal or a coldie somewhere and then back into the chopper and into the sky, what a blast.
