Overview

Take your seats as we depart from the eastern foreshore for a 45 minute cruise through Mandurah's inland waterways and canals on our fun pirate adventure for children and adults of all ages.

As we cruise through Mandurah's canals, you can steer the pirate wheel, ring the bell or sit back and enjoy the scenery and lookout for the wildlife that call the Mandurah canals home, including the famous bottlenose dolphins.

Open 7 days a week over school holidays, including public holidays apart from Christmas Day 10am-3pm.

The Pirate Ship was custom built to navigate Mandurah's waterways. There is a steering wheel for kids to play with at the front of the vessel. We have a chest full of pirate hats swords and flags for the kids and adults to purchase if you wish.

If you are able to do so please leave prams in the car, they are bulky and we have very limited storage

DRESS CODE
Please wear appropriate footwear, high heels are not suitable for The Pirate Ship Mandurah or any of our departure jetties. It’s your responsibility to dress appropriately for trips on the water, during summer you will need a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, during winter and night tours throughout the year you will need a warm jacket.

Location

We are located at the jetty out the front of The Bay Cafe on the Eastern Foreshore, Opposite 9 Mandurah Terrace.
Boarding for your cruise commences 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time the boat departs on the hour. Please allow yourself time for parking and walking to the jetty if you miss your cruise because you are late the tickets will be forfeited.
Cruises depart on the hour, please ensure you are at the jetty 15 minutes prior for boarding we can not wait for late arrivals.

45 minutes is just perfect for toddlers before the get hungry, tired, bored etc 🤣 The pirates were entertaining and engaging - telling funny jokes, allowing the kids onboard to ring the bell, stir the wheel, fire the water cannon, pit on temporary tattoos etc 😍 Saw only one dolphin 🐬though. Weather was perfect (we went in Jan) didn't need a jumper but needed sunglasses as limited shade and glare from the water. Would recommend for young families. 🦜 🚢 ⚓

Wonderful experience, seeing the bird life while sailing through the channels looking at luxurious homes. Lucky to see the dolphins 🐬 right next to the boat. Thankyou to the captain and crew, please do yourself a favour it was truly worth the adventure

The 2 captains running the show were fantastic I had issues with my car consequently making us not be anywhere near Mandurah in time for our 10.30 tour. We ended up having to get an uber from the BP just out of Karnup and made the last tour. They were most accommodating with pushing back out tour. Grandson loved it as did us adults. Would love to do a Christmas lights tour with them

Perfect weather for a cruise on the high seas 😂, actually perfect calm waters were able to see three groups of dolphins with the last pod of 14 riding our bow waves. So much fun with a quick stop to pick up our fish n chips for lunch. Such good value!

Infants must be added to booking as they are considered a passenger.
Wheelchair access is unavailable at this time.
One adult is required to supervise a maximum of five kids.

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online via our website.
In person at the Mandurah visitor centre bookings close 30 minutes before cruise departure.
You may purchase tickets at the boat prior to departure. The boat will be at the jetty 15 minutes before the next cruise commences. Tickets may sell out so if you are set on a specific time, it may be worthwhile pre purchasing.
We accept both cash & eftpos at the jetty.

Departure Dates

Open 7 days over all Western Australian school holiday (July school holidays are weather dependant).
Thursday-Sunday from October school holidays to the start of April school holidays.
Weekends only weather dependant from the end of April school holidays to the start of September school holidays.
If you want to book a trip outside of these dates and times, please contact us. Standard cruise length is approximately 45 minutes.
We also have a Christmas Lights Tour on nights from the 1st December to the 8th of January.

Cancellation Policy

Our policies allow changes, but also reflect the fact Pirate Ship Mandurah may lose the opportunity to sell seats or incur costs if short notice of cancellation is given. Bookings for our “The Pirate Cruise” the "1.5 Hour Sundowner cruise" and the "1.5 Hour scenic lunch cruise" cancelled within 7 days will be offered the opportunity to reschedule only. Passengers that do not show on the day or arrive after the cruise has departed will loose their tickets.
Cancellation due to a COVID lockdown or a customers inability to travel will be subject to manual review by us. If you are required to self isolate and it is with in 7 days of your cruise you will be offered to reschedule your cruise to another date within a year.

How to redeem

Your voucher(s) and booking information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive shortly after purchasing the experience on Amazed.com.

If the booking needs to be first confirmed by the host, you will receive your Amazed voucher within 24-48 hours of purchase.
