  • Overview

A series of short treks designed to showcase the splendour of Cape Range and the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Coast. Walk the red ramparts and magnificent gorges of Cape Range, down through the coastal plains and dunes and into the refreshing turquoise waters of Ningaloo Lagoon, a journey of only a few kilometres in distance though a humbling 25 million years in time.
Our Cape Range Explorer-One day adventure starts off with our longest trek of the day (approximately 4-6kms) as we explore one of the many canyons that dissect the North West Cape, affording us breathtaking views of the Ningaloo Coast.

After a relaxing, hearty lunch, we then take the opportunity to explore the Ningaloo Coast, trekking pristine beaches and coastal dunes with a refreshing swim only metres away. Then, time permitting, we will explore the tranquillity of Mangrove Bay with a short walk or just take a seat in the bird hide and take it all in before we head home to Exmouth.

  • What's included?
    • Spectacular canyon trekking and views
    • Isolated range and beach camping
    • We can provide you with all quality equipment needed for your multi-day trek at no extra cost.

Ian was an outstanding tour guide. His knowledge of the flora and fauna in the area is second to none. He is fully prepared for any situation (we had a shoe blowout that needed running repairs!) took to great vantage points for breaks (with him carrying snacks and water!) With being a small group, he even took us on an extended trek for our 1 day hike (we clocked up nearly 14kms!) We can’t recommend Ian highly enough to anyone visiting the area. Look forward to returning and doing a 2 day trek!

The mindfulness and thought put in the set up of this walk is loud and clear from the minute you meet Ian. This is all about sharing the beauty of this unique environment, be it hard work or not. I was very thankful for my physical preparation and having taken Ian’s advice seriously. My experience was one of a life time because I was up to it. It is challenging. It is as rugged as you can expect it and rewarding beyond your own expectations. Thank you for your enthusiasm as well as body and soul sheer hard work you and Erin put into the preparation to allow us to experience the best out of this walk. 11/10

Absolutely incredible 2 days. Can’t recommend enough. Both Ian and Erin were so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. They thought of everything, making the hike seamless and enjoyable. The Range is stunning - there was nothing better than some yarns, cheese and port under the stars and watching the sunrise create captivating shadows across the range. Definitely will come back for the 3/4 day Trek. Thanks so much!

Amazing experience!! Erin and Ian are absolute legends and took us on an awesome trek. Their knowledge of the routes, local area and wildlife is fantastic and I learnt lots on our adventure. It was great to be immersed in nature in places where few people have been before. The views were epic and we covered so many terrains of the Cape range national park from pindan to bush, gorge to dunes! I can’t recommend this tour enough - incredible experience and a wonderful way to experience Ningaloo terrestrially. There are as many treasures on land as there are underwater in this beautiful part of the world.

Incredible tour, Ian was a fantastic, passionate tour guide and engaging company. Felt very lucky and grateful to be able to do a hike like we did and see the places we saw. Ian tapers the hike to the group which made it a challenging and rewarding experience!
