• Weather - The weather can quickly turn cold on the water, even when fine, sunny conditions are forecasted so we always advise bringing a warm jacket & beanie. 
• What to Bring - We also recommend you pack sunscreen, a hat,  sunglasses, a towel & camera (you are definitely going to want to capture this experience!) Plus bathers if you prefer to swim than wade. 
• Minors - Children 0-5yrs must be strictly supervised by their parents at all times.
  We welcome children and infants on the tour, although we leave it to the parents to decide if their child will be attentive/interested throughout the tour. Please remember this is a group tour and we aim to create a memorable experience for everyone on the tour.  Most children and adults are curious about oysters and oyster farming in general, plus the new boat, and marine life that we may see as we cruise along. Our tour talk is approximately 20-30mins which requires a quiet period to let the tour guide be heard by all onboard.
• Occasionally we have a few oyster bags to return to the water, if your booking is a special occasion & you don't want this to happen please let us know.
• How should we dress for the boat tour? We suggest that you plan a trip on a boat. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a warm jacket in case the wind comes up, and comfortable footwear. If you are participating in the waders experience on the 3hr tour please bring a towel for after and socks to wear in the waders. In the warmer months, it is lovely just to wear your bathers if you prefer.
• Is the wading experience available on the 90 min Short and Sweet tour?
  No, it is not available on this tour as we do not allow the time for the wading experience and the oyster farm that we visit does not have a clear sandy bottom to walk around on.
• We do not guarantee seals or dolphins will appear on each trip.
• We require good hygiene practices during the COVID-19 pandemic for each tour participant.

• Tours are canceled if the weather is unsuitable. Experience Coffin Bay reserves the right to offer an alternate date if the trip is canceled by us or will offer a full refund on a case-by-case basis. Bookings are not confirmed until the payment is received from the customer (customer-participant on the tour) Cancellation policy applies to all clients (client - the person who booked and confirms the booking with Experience Coffin Bay)
• The weather and sea conditions can sometimes require us to run a shorter tour in place of those scheduled. Whilst we understand this can be disappointing for some passengers, this decision is always made with passenger comfort and safety in mind. Tidal conditions can also impact our tour. Rest assured, if we can conduct the tour which you have booked we will do so. Changes are only made when required, however sometimes need to be made at short notice or even mid-tour, your understanding is appreciated.
• If the booking is made with unknown final numbers for the tour the cancellation cost will be based on 50% of our full boat capacity
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made by the customer (customer-participant on the tour) with less than 48 hours in advance notice, or in the case of no show.
• A cancellation fee of 20% applies for cancellations made less than 14 days in advance.
• A full refund if cancellations are made more than 14 days in advance.
