Location

Our vessels depart from the jetty on the river side of the Wharf complex behind the Rice Boi restaurant. You can enter The Wharf complex at the main entrance or through the alleyway and walk straight through the courtyard towards to river you will arrive at the jetty. There is also a directory located at the main entrance at The Wharf complex.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. We will begin boarding 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to ensure we depart right on time.

An unforgettable experience!!! We saw many whales close to our boat…amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They talked about the whales behavior and gave us tips to spot whales. We felt very safe all the time and were able to make many videos and pictures. 10 out of 10 - we highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with Adventure Rafting! The ride out to find the whales was thrilling and we were fortunate to see a number of whales. The most special sighting were two humpback whales that circled the boat for quite some time giving us a spectacular close encounter. Thank you to Brendan and Hayden for being excellent guides and, in particular, to Brendan for his humour and sharing lots of interesting facts about the whales :)))

I had a great morning. For a while I thought we were only going to see a few cruising whales but we got quite a show in the end. Booking and checking in are hassle free. I would definitely recommend Adventure Rafting. The small boat is the way to go.

The absolute best experience! Can’t recommend this boat tour enough. Not a fancy boat with a deck - we didn’t need that. This was FUN!! Fast, wet and the whales loved circling us. I want to go again next weekend. I mean, we could have just about jumped on for a ride if we wanted to. Just amazing!

Adventure Rafting will not be liable for death/injury to any persons or loss/damage to property under any circumstances.
The Skipper/s and any Adventure Rafting and Coastal Express staff have the right to refuse any person's participation due to safety concerns.
All guests travelling must have a reasonable level of movement and agility.
Any pre-existing injuries or health conditions must be declared prior to travel.

What to bring:

Wear warm clothing in winter
We do our best to stay paperless, so there is no need to print your ticket or participation waiver. Simply fill your waiver in online and present your online ticket to the team upon arrival. We recommend everyone bring sunglasses and wear sunscreen.
Additionally, we recommend wearing enclosed shoes and warm clothing on our Whale Watching tours during winter.

Tour requirements:

Passengers must be 5 years or older.
A reasonable level of movement and agility. If you are pregnant, unfortunately,
this tour is not for you.
All passengers must complete a participation waiver for each guest prior to travelling, you can access the Adventure Rafting waiver here.

Cancellation Policy

All Adventure Rafting tours are subject to tide, weather conditions & minimum numbers.
Should a tour be cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, an open-dated ticket (redeemable for 12 months) will be offered or a full refund rewarded.
Adventure Rafting customers will receive a full refund or credit if they give 48 hours or more notice of cancellation.
All cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Customers who cancel within 48 hours from the time of departure not be entitled to a refund.
Any no-shows will not be entitled to a refund.
