This unique food and wine experience from Port Douglas will be tasting some of the best food and wine that the Atherton Tablelands has to offer. We will take you through a variety of contrasting landscapes from lush rainforests, crops, and dairyland to stunning ochre savannah plains. The rich volcanic soil allows farmers to grow many diverse crops from bananas, coffee, sugar cane, avocados, mangoes, macadamia nuts, citrus and more which you will learn about as we taste our way around the region's 'Food Bowl.'
Sit back and relax, take in the beautiful views as we take you on a fascinating and tasty journey through another gem of Far North Queensland. (time permitting we will also stop to buy incredible fresh produce along the way)
Hotel Pickups are available for all Port Douglas hotels.
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. a week agoHotel pick up was on time and efficient. Bus is clean and airconditioned. Chris is super friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining in addition to his sidekick Bosun 🐶❤️. Also forgot our photo in the bus and Chris delivered it to our hotel. Unfortunately we had unruly children on our tour which took away from our experience. Perhaps look at an adults only option @Brettskurandadaytours

2 months agoGreat tour. Bridget was an informative and fun guide. We learn so much about the area. The stops gave us the opportunity to learn about sustainability and the passion of the people we met. In Kurunda, we held a koala. Then we tasted mango wine. The conversation with the Italian lady running the shop about the history of the wine fascinated us. It was definitely a good time!

5 months agoBridget was a fantastic tour guide, such incredible depth of local and cultural knowledge and very personable. Recommend choosing the package where you can do the cable car on the return trip as the view of the coast is amazing.

a month agoBrett's Outback Tasting Adventure was a wonderful day experience. Brett was very informative about the different regions of food bowls, travelling through the Atherton Tablelands. We went to some great and sometimes 'hidden' little places that displayed their delicious wares and delightful beverages. The day tour was very well planned out, but the highlight for me, was sighting a platypus at play amongst the lilypads! A must to do, when you're in Port Douglas.

6 months agoAmazing day exploring and learning about Kuranda and the surrounding areas. The train and SkyRail provided two unique viewpoints, I highly recommend doing both. Brett was a wonderful guide who ensured we knew where and when to meet him after we were done exploring on our own. Such a unique and engaging tour!
