It's less of a 'Show' and more of a real demonstration of horse starting and working dog training. Meet the four-legged station crew and sing along to some of Tom Curtain's national award winning songs including Territory Time, Speak Up, Never Never Land and Smack Bang as well as others from his four CD's.
This is not your run-of-the-mill type of outback show or tour, rather it is an experience! It is raw and real, the same as if an audience wasn’t present. This hands-on experience is located on an operating farm, just 6kms south of Katherine.
Outback Show:
No less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is required in order for a full refund to be given for individual or group bookings of up to 10 people for the Outback Shows. Alternatively at the discretion of the manager based on circumstances. Groups larger than 10 people require 72 hours notice.
Horse Riding Lessons and Experiences:
We are willing to rebook your Horse Riding Experience or Lesson at an alternative time and/ or date, issue a voucher to be used at a later date or provide a full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to 9am of the day of the scheduled Horse Riding Session.
For cancellations made within 72 hours prior to the Booking, refunds will not be issued unless in extenuating circumstances as deemed by management. Amendments within this timeframe will attract a $35 Amendment Fee to cover staff costs. We roster our staff around bookings. Unfortunately last minute changes make it very difficult to fill that space in our schedules.

5 months agoGreat experience. Tom and Annabel were super friendly. Came a part of a school tour and was not disappointed. Really shows the inner workings of rural towns and life on the farm, which was very interesting to see. Pricing was perfect, and ran on schedule. Merchandise was also a very nice touch. This business is essentially carrying Katherine's Tourism.

7 months agoReal working farm training and breaking in gorse Use current horses being broken in. Not trained repetitively performing horses. Each show is slightly different. Tom is a great singer and guitarist who has won Golden Guitar at Tamworth Music Festival and sings and plays during the show. Great to see how horses are broken in and trained. A true training of dogs and horses rather than just performing animals.

a week agoThe Katherine Outback Experience is a must when visiting Katherine! Really enjoyed the two hour show and total admiration for all the hard work and training Tom and his team put into it. A must do for kids too.....getting up close and personal with all the amazing animals 🤩

10 months agoBeautiful set up being undercover. Lovely to see the way animals are trained and treated. Little kids enjoyed feeding the animals. Fantastic songs by Tom. Thanks for the cd for my mum and dad for their 55 years of marriage.
