From the moment we met our guide Kristie at our meeting place in Lithgow to when we were dropped back 3 hours later we had the most interesting and adventurous experience! Kristie confidently drove us down the (very) steep alternate road built after the original Wolgan Rd was severely damaged by landslides. Once down into the valley we were delighted to see a great variety of birds whilst Kristie shared her extensive knowledge not only of the birds but the whole valley including its geological history. Morning tea was very special with locally baked cake, fruit and expresso coffee – all whilst standing in a paddock under the beautiful gums of the valley. I would highly recommend Wolgan Valley Eco Tours and look forward to our next adventure with Kristie!

The tour was amazing much more than we expected. Kristie gave an informative commentary with loads of local knowledge and experience. Some of the highlights were watching the sunrise over the Wolgan Valley, seeing a Regent Honeyeater and the yummy morning tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed Kristie's tour of the Wolgan Valley. She identified several beautiful birds for us in addition to wonderful kangaroos and wallabies. Getting access to the valley, which is currently closed to the public, made this excursion extra special!
