Overview

Join us in the Red Hill Candle Co to get hands-on and go behind the scenes in this 2-hour candle-making and cheese tasting experience. Your journey starts off with one of our Chief Candle Makers as they share their experiences with and guide you through a local cheese tasting from our neighbours at Boat Shed Cheese while you enjoy a glass of Foxey's Sparkling Wine or Mock Orchards sparkling juice. You'll then go behind the scenes and see one of our candle makers in production in our factory.

Following the tour, you will get hands-on and design your own products to take home. Each person will be guided through the process of fragrance design choosing from 40 different fragrances on our Scent Wall. At the end of the session, you will have designed a candle, diffuser, room spray and melt to take home.

My friend and I visited Red Hill Candle Co for their candle making class today. It was absolutely FANTASTIC! It is truly such a wonderful few hours out! Karen our instructor was so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys beautiful scented candles - what a fabulous way to truly personalise your home 😍.

Had the best time at Red Hill Candle Co. the candles we made are so beautiful and smells so yummy! They have very good products in the store too if you don’t want to make your own! Close to lots of amazing places to eat, we had our lunch at Red Gum BBQ - melts in the mouth honey glazed Lamb ribs! Went for a ride up the Eagle on Arthur’s Seat and the. Enjoyed the rest of the day with a short walk out to the Rock Pools in Bushrangers Bay!

My mum organised for us to do the candle making workshop and it was such a fun and pleasant experience. Everything was just lovely, from being greeted at the door, to the complimentary drink, to how the table was set for everyone, to the helpful and friendly staff, to the lovely gift shop. I highly recommend this to anyone of all ages. It was a great experience and we love our candles!! Thank you Ebony for creating such a beautiful space for others to come and enjoy your craft!

We loved visiting the Red Hill Candle Co! It was such a gorgeous shop and we loved getting the chance to make our own bespoke candles! They had so many scents to choose from and the process was fun and easy. Eb & Mel we’re super helpful and lovely to have a chat with. They offered a range of activities including make your own car diffuser, make your own candles and also an option for larger groups and parties with the inclusion of bubbles etc. (great for hens, birthdays) Definitely one to visit if you’re in the Dromana area!

Fantastic experience and day out. I bought the scented candle making and lunch at Montalto package for my sister for her birthday. Had the best time. The girls at Red Hill candles were fantastic and their shop had an amazing range of gifts as well as candles. Lunch at Montalto was great and finished our day off in the most perfect way. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable clothes and shoes (we will supply you with an apron to wear during the session)

Important things to note:

Your large candle will take approximately 3hours to set. You are welcome to collect them later that day or during our operating hours or we can post your candles to you for $10 anywhere in Australia
Please advise us in advance if there are people in your party with mobility issues (ie. ability to walk up a flight of stairs.
We have 40 fragrances to choose from and you can mix and match up to 3 different scents for each candle you make. Take a look at our website to see which fragrances are available

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel for any reason a full refund is available with 7 days notice.
Bookings cancelled between 7 days and 48 hours notice will receive a 50% refund and no refund is available for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice
