Overview

After a safety briefing and operational overview, participants will be fitted with lifejackets before heading upriver to explore the Botanical Gardens and views of Government House. Turning under the Swan Street Bridge, we will pass the iconic Rod Laver Arena Precinct, with MCG in the background before riding along Birrarung Marr.

The tour will continue downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne. The tour will continue along the Yarra River past Flinders Street Station onto SEA Life Aquarium, with the Rialto building towering in the background, and passing the pontoons of Microflite.

We will then turn at Webb Bridge, taking in Yarra's Edge Marine before passing the Polly Woodside Tallship and Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre. Continuing upstream we then pass Crown Casino, the South Bank precinct with Eureka Tower soaring to the skyline above. Arts Centre Melbourne passes us before once again passing under Princes Bridge and finishing back at the Rowing Sheds along Boathouse Drive next to Princes Bridge; directly across the Yarra River from Federation Square.

The tour starts and finishes at the Rowing Sheds along Boathouse Drive next to Princes Bridge; directly across the Yarra River from Federation Square. It is a 5 minute walk from Flinders Train Station and multiple tram stops.

What is the maximum speed?
You can get up to 2 times the speed of a Stand Up paddle. The maximum speed of new models is about 15km/h, depending on your condition you can keep a pace of 6 to 9 k/m without much effort. Today, we can state with full conviction (based on tests) that our Bikeboat is the FASTEST waterbike on the market!
Can children ride the waterbikes?
Yes, children need to be at least 120cm tall to ride the waterbikes, otherwise they won’t be able to reach the pedals.
If you’re considering for children under 120cm tall, we recommend an optional inflatable deck.
Is there a weight limit for the waterbikes?
There is a maximum 120kg weight limit.

We reserves its right to determine the suitability of the weather and other conditions (‘the conditions’) on the day for participation in the activities and is at liberty to cancel the activities at its own discretion.
If we determines prior to the commencement of the activities that the conditions are not suitable for the activities, then we will notify you of such cancellation and you will be permitted the right to re-book an alternative date or to be given a full refund.
If we determines at a point during the course of the activities that the conditions are not suitable for the activities, then we will not be at liberty to provide a refund.
We will not be responsible for any inconvenience (financial or otherwise) caused by cancellation of the activities upon your arrival at the location determined for the activities.
If we determines that the conditions are suitable for the activities, but you elect not to participate regardless, then we will not be at liberty to provide a refund.
