This is our family-friendly tour. This introductory walking tour has been designed to be suitable for the whole family and a great opportunity to enjoy chocolate and learn more about the Melbourne Chocolate scene.
Join your local tour guide on a chocolate walking tour where we enjoy different tastes of milk and dark chocolate, learning the stories behind their makers as well as discovering some of the city’s laneways and arcades.
Over the course of about 90 minutes, we will walk about two kilometres (1.2 miles) and visit four amazing chocolatiers and cafes. All of our partners offer couverture chocolate (the good stuff!).
On the chocolate walking tour, we will visit some of Melbourne’s most iconic arcades, chatting about the history and sharing some of the fascinating stories they hold.

St Paul's Cathedral
Please meet on the corner of Flinders St and Swanston St. Your guide will be holding a chocolate coloured balloon.
Please note: This tour requires a minimum of 6 participants in total to run. You can book smaller groups and we’ll let you know if the tour can’t proceed.
When can you cancel or rearrange a booking?
We confirm all tours and guest numbers with our guides and chocolate partners three (3) days before the tour; therefore, we require at least three (3) days’ notice of cancellation and/or rearrangement of a tour booking.
More than three (3) days before the tour date:
If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking more than three (3) days before the tour date you can transfer the booking to another tour (subject to availability) or request a full refund.
Less than three (3) days before the tour date:
If you wish to rearrange or cancel your booking less than three (3) days before the tour date you will be unable to transfer the booking to another tour and no refund will be given. You are welcome to transfer the booking to another person (a friend or relative, for example).
Your voucher(s) and booking information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive shortly after purchasing the experience on Amazed.com.
If the booking needs to be first confirmed by the host, you will receive your Amazed voucher within 24-48 hours of purchase.

in the last weekI am from the northern suburbs of Melbourne and I loved seeing stores I've not heard of. Yes the general areas of the arcades, we know but hearing the stories behind the businesses and tasting amazing chocolate was wonderful. Ivan gave us a bit of a history tour too so it was interesting to hear about what went on in different parts of Melbourne back in the day. Ivan is a very engaging guide. None of the businesses I had ever been to before so it was wonderful being a tourist for the day. I may even have been converted to liking dark chocolate 😉. 5 months agoWe joined the Chocoholic Tour with Ivan who was our guide . We started in the Block Arcade and made our way though to some laneways. We experienced many diiferent styles of fine chocolate with some interesting Melbourne facts. Thanks Team at Chocoholics it was real fun !

2 months agoOur tour guide Meg was excellent. It was interesting to learn from her and some of the vendors about the history of the stores and locations. The tour introduced me to some hidden gems that I likely would not have stumbled upon by myself. Don't be intimidated that it's a walking tour, there is plenty of time between locations and none of them are very far from each other. There was something for every type of sweet tooth so if you're even considering doing the tour definitely go!
