What better way to save energy than catch the breeze across Whitsunday Passage through Hook Passage to Whitsunday Island. Walk up to Hill Inlet lookout and then down the glorious Whitehaven Beach. Snorkel on fringing reef.
We visit the iconic Whitehaven Beach on a 62-ft gaff rigged schooner. Walk to the Hill Inlet lookout to see one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Spend time on the dazzling white sand. Swim in the pristine turquoise waters. Then jump on board for lunch as we head out to some fringing coral reef for snorkelling on some beautiful coral teeming with fish.
Chance to see turtles and spot dolphins and in July/August you might see some whales. This is where they come to calf in the winter months. Help out with the sails and belay a cleat or two or chill on deck.

a year agoJust had the most loveliest lunch lovingly and beautifully made and prepared by Erin and Fabio. If I could give it a 10 stars I would! Also handy being a member and getting a great discount. Well done team WSC!

a year agoStopped in for lunch and a few drinks looking over the bay. Service was friendly and helpful. Ordered 2 x fish & chips (1 battered, 1 grilled). Both were cooked perfectly and the batter wasn't too heavy. Would definitely stop in again if we were staying longer.

2 weeks agoWow. This place has really gone downhill in terms of service and quality of food. It took too long to order a salad. When the avocado//salmon salad came it did not have the extra avocado that was paid for. The Ceasar salad we ordered had a hard boiled egg which is not usual for a Ceasar salad. We requested a par boiled egg which was delivered. At the bottom of the salad was a hair. Overall the food was sub par. The drink service was inadequate. We do not blame the staff as they have not been trained. They were lovely but not up to the task. They really need to get sorted as locals we will not be back.

2 years agoThis would have to be one of the best Friday Seafood lunches we’ve ever had. Absolutely next level quality and taste. For $105 with a free bottle of quality wine and a million dollar view it’s almost unbelievable. 😎🤙
