a month agoVery enjoyable and relaxing cruise in a historic ketch around the river mouth and canals of the Mooloolabah area. Informative commentary provided plus a welcome drink and a selection of really delicious native ingredient based canapes. Friendly and helpful crew. Definitely worth doing.

2 months agoSaltwater Eco Tours was sensational, not only were we cruising on a heritage vessel but it's own and run by a group of indigenous youngsters who take pride in their work and Australian culture. We had an amazing time, drinks flowed endlessly, the ambience was relaxing with a talented musician entertaining us. Definitely recommend it taking a cruise.

8 months agoIf you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast and specifically the Mooloolaba area, this is one you should have on your checklist. See the beautiful homes on the canal, listen to the education information regarding the environment and aboriginal tradition/culture of the area, and enjoy the delicious bush tucker on offer. The cruise (on a beautifully restored old Tasmanian timber boat) remains within still water - I’m notorious for getting seasick and this was simply delightful. Over the years I’ve been on other cruises of the Mooloolaba river and canal system and this is easily the best so far. Thoroughly recommended.

2 months agoI booked on with Saltwater Ecotours for the sunset sail with live music and had a fantastic experience. From the second you walk onboard you are greeted with a complementary drink and get to feast your eyes on the beauty of this classic sailboat. As the tour started Simon, the captain, gave an insightful history of the vessel and acknowledgement of the land we ventured on. The music was lovely, food was tasty, sights were gorgeous, and overall it was a perfect way to spend a Friday night! Also-checkout the Ecotours shop in the wharf after for the local ingredients used in the drinks and stunning art pieces by First Nations artists. I'm keen to checkout their other tours as well!

10 months agoWe enjoyed a lovely bush food & seafood cruise today for our 16th wedding anniversary. Beautiful boat, perfect weather, stunning views, lovely staff & delicious food. Very relaxing, just what we needed! And a real treat at the end when the skipper played the didgeridoo!
