We had a brilliant day with joel. He was a safe driver patient, knowledgeable, friendy and knew his way around. He got to know us (a grpup pf 18) all by name and cared for us. He wanted us to have a great day, so we did. He adapted from playing music, to some quiet time, to informing us of stuff as we needed. He helped us out wherever required. I'd Completely recommend Joel's journey's

We had a fabulous day at Australia Zoo. Joel transported us to and from the zoo! He was punctual, very pleasant, safe, full of information with the zoo and surrounding area! Thoroughly recommend Joel’s Journeys when one is visiting the beautiful Sunshine Coast 🤩

Joel promptly picked us up at 8.15am from our accommodation in Noosa in his lovely clean comfy van and took us on a full day private tour of Maleny and Montville which are the most adorable little picturesque towns. We visited a stunning waterfall at Mapleton with incredible views as well as an amazing guided rainforest walk where we spotted about 7 pademelon’s, various birds, flora and learnt about the eco system of the area. Joel’s knowledge of the local area is phenomenal. A delicious and huge lunch was included at a local restaurant in Flaxton as well as a visit and tasting at Maleny chocolatiers. He also took us to a Secret treetop resort with incredible and breathtaking views of Lake Baroon. It was the most wonderful jam-packed yet relaxing 9 hour day. And a great day out even though it was intermittently raining. Would definitely recommend you book Joel. He was so friendly, kind and so accommodating and will be booking him again when we return to the Sunshine Coast for our next holiday.

Joel was such a patient and engaging tour guide, leaving enough space for our big 18 people group to have fun, and at the same time gently guiding us towards our next adventure when needed so we don't miss anything from our itinerary. There is limited luggage storage available on our journeys, please do not bring excessive luggage with you.
The minimum age requirement is 4 years of age. All travelling persons must book and have their own seat allocated for use. All children that are 17 years of age or younger, must be accompanied by an adult.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically able and fit enough to participate in our journeys.
Participants active in journeys & lessons must be able to swim, cycle, walk and kayak competently with a basic skill level and experience for the relative activities. If anyone is unable to meet the basic skill level or experience in these activities they must notify us prior to any participation and adhere to instructions given.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation within 3 to 7 days of departure will result in a 50% refund of money paid for our service. Failure to board or cancellation within 72 hours of departure will result in full fare forfeiture. We will not be held responsible for passengers failing to familiarise themselves with the booking terms and conditions.
Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a journey booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
We require a minimum number of people booked on journeys in order to be able to operate. If journeys do not meet minimum numbers, we reserves the right to cancel that journey departure. We will do this with as much advance notice as possible and inform affected customers so alternative arrangements may be made. If alternative arrangements cannot be made, we will provide you with a refund of services fares already paid. To the extent permitted by law, no refunds will be provided due to alterations to any aspect of the trip.
