a month agoWe had decided to spend a day searching for waterfalls, and we drove past this place and decided to stop. What a great idea to stop. It was really really fun to see all the animals. I got to pet a kangaroo and feed them and the koalas were so cute. I really enjoyed feeding a cassowary the animals were really fun and you got to see all the native Australian ones up close. We did the duck tour that went through the rainforest our guide was excellent. He explained all the flora and Fauna and stopped and showed us, a lot of different trees, butterflies, birds, and even some really really creepy spiders. I definitely would recommend doing the Duck boat tour. They had a nice gift shop and then a place that you could have all you can eat barbecue lunch. It was very affordable about AU$25 each. They had yummy barbecue chicken. They had some steak some sort of sausage I had tofu stirfry and a delicious pumpkin soup And wonderful exotic fruit to eat. I would definitely recommend staying for the buffet. It was well worth the money we spent. If you’re in the area, this is a must stop place to visit.

6 months agoIt was good. The Army Duck tour was pretty disappointing. Great guide, but they just drive around in a tiny circle, take you on a tiny lake, and then you are done. The nature park and the Aboriginal experience were both much better and certainly worth the time if you are in the area.

a week agoThe overall experience at the park left me feeling concerned about the animals' living conditions. Specifically, I observed that many of them appeared confined to small spaces that didn't allow for natural movement or behaviors. For instance, the kookaburra (not the best photo) and other birds were housed in small cages where they couldn't fly freely. Similarly, the dingoes seemed to lack adequate space for running and appeared to be in poor physical condition. It's important for Nature Parks to prioritize the welfare and enrichment of their animal residents, and improvements in habitat size and quality would greatly enhance visitors' experiences and the well-being of the animals.
