5 months agoYesterday was the perfect day for the reef. 2 knot winds and amazing visibility. 👌 Crew were helpful and attentive. Lunch was lovely. Foods that weren't too heavy also, which is good when you're swimming. Lots to do. We snorkeled, checked out the underwater observatory and went on the semi submersible. All great fun and the day flew by! Beautiful coral and fish. Didn't see any sharks, turtles or rays, sadly, but that's nature. 🐠

3 months agoThe reef tour that we had on 1 Dec was ok. Transportation, snorkeling and diving were good. The tour was poorly planned therefore the diving part finished late and we barely managed to get on the helicopter. Bcoz of this rush we were unable to get scuba dive pictures and were told to contact Reef magic via email. This is what we did on the next day, but until now - 25 Dec - the photos are not received. Reef magic even stopped answering our emails. Overall, the tour is ok, but could be better planned. The service and attention to clients are extremely poor. Complete ignorance. We are ok to pay 75$ for our pictures, but reef magic doesn’t want to get money.

a week agoAbsolutely fabulous experience overall with Reef Magic. Right from entering the boat, the team took excellent care of everyone on board. Going to the reef had choppy waters and what impressed us the most was the team on the boat was extremely cooperative about people who were seasick. They took very good care of everyone. The pontoon was very well designed, activities are very well planned and overall the day was a success even with the intermittent rains. Thanks Reef Magic!

2 weeks agoWe participated in the cruise and snorkel safari. I thoroughly enjoyed the roped off area to explore. I thought it would be too small but you could spend all day snorkeling the area and identifying new ocean creatures with every turn. The snorkel safari was also great in a different area, but I do wish our guide spoke louder and provided more information on the things we saw. Overall this was a great experience to explore the great barrier reef. I also thought the Indigenous demonstration of musical culture was so eye-opening and I appreciated the time to acknowledge the custodians of the region.
