2 weeks agoAmazing Crew! Knowledgeable & friendly! Boat is well maintained, three decks to explore! Variety of food, including morning & afternoon snacks! All dive equipments are fairly new. A very good day boat to choose from, mother company is Reef Unlimited, less capacity & worth the money!

4 months agoWe had the greatest time on this excursion! The staff was amazing, we felt safe at all times. The staff ensured everyone was having a fun time, but we’d like to especially give a shoutout to Oscar, Jake, and Finn. Oscar was great at providing recommendations and informative knowledge about the reef and really kind and happy to answer all our questions about the wildlife. They were also very patient and made sure to keep checking in so everyone was prepared and comfortable with snorkeling! We also went on the Reef Safari because Jake convinced us to do it and it was great, I definitely recommend it to anyone signing up! It costs extra, but you see so much more of the reef and learn a lot about the different species and Jake was a great guide. We wish we had more days to do this tour again!!

5 months agoPick this tour! The tour takes you to the outer reefs where there is plenty of coral and fish wildlife, and very few large groups. Our group was small (only 17 people), so you could each explore at your own pace, without knocking into others. There was a lot of insight into the scientific and Indigenous history of the area (there was both a marine biologist and local indigenous guide on crew). The presentations and in-reef activities to explore and show you the ecosystem and fish species were amazing. We also saw sharks (small ones) and sea turtles! Finally (and most importantly) everything was really safe. We had excellent briefings from the captain, there was a lot of emphasis on safety - and I was even give a pair of prescription snorkels so I could see well underwater! The boat was also very well-maintained, comfortable and clean.

10 months agoWhat a fantastic experience! I really appreciated the combination of cultural presentations as well as marine biology information. Staff were a lot of fun but also highly professional and looking out for our safety. Loved the snorkeling safari with the Maine biologist and Jason, cultural guide, sharing the wonders of the reef with us. Went to two wonderful sites with lots of time for snorkeling. Good sized group, better that the larger boats where you wait in line. Fabulous food and even a short HOT shower at the end!

6 months agoMy family and I had the best day out on the reef with the Dreamtime team. The crew are so friendly and the cultural presentations as well as the marine biology presentation were fun and informative. Martin the diving instructor was top notch and the food was healthy and very tasty. Their catamaran is comfortable and they don't over book so there is plenty of room on board. Having tried a few other operators when visiting Cairns, I think they are the best.
