4 months agoAbsolutely fantastic. Not a bad word to say about it. From the Breakfast with the Birds, Swimming with the Salties & the Nocturnal Wildlife experience, it was an amazing place to visit. Shout out to Nicole & Kasey for making it a visit to remember. Thank you very much.

3 months agoHonestly the best zoo/sanctuary I've been to. Didn't really have any interest in going here, but saw they had a nocturnal animals tour so decided to book it just for fun. Tour was amazing and decided we had to come back again the next morning to see the rest of the animals. Lovely and very knowledgeable people, a huge range of native Australian animals and a stunning zoo overall. Enclosures are huge with tons of room for animals to move around and keep entertained. An underrated treasure for anybody visiting Port Douglas!

5 months agoWe had a lovely visit. So many birds and we had the burgers from the caffee and they were really great. We almost missed a few sections of the park but made a point of going back through to explore everything. My favourite part was the mini tree walk and feeding the fish.

a month agoGreat place to take kids. Just so you know, they only let you hold and take a photo with the Koalas once a day, and today was 10:45am. Our excursion arrived at 11:30 and we were offered photos with koala in the background, but could not hold them. So go early.

in the last weekReally well done habitat space with lots of animals and they all seem to have plenty of space to move around. The presentation with the crocss was informative and entertaining. Feeding the roos was a highlight, as was sitting in the Cafe with the very attention craving and friendly birds. If you see pelicans that have come into the kangaroo area on their own, they seem to have learned that they can get some free food there and are very unfriendly. And, as I've learned, there beaks (bills?) are sharper than you'd expect and they will attack unprovoked.
