Noosa Learn to Surf on the Sunshine Coast is a fantastic place for surf lessons.

We have been operating on Noosa Beach since 2006. Conditions are ideal for surf lessons or surf hire with warm water, a safe beach, and most of all, one of Australia’s most iconic surf destinations. As a result, our surf school specialises in daily beginner surf lessons.

I can't thank Scott and the guys at Go Ride a Wave Noosa enough for the surf lessons for my 8 year old boys. They were patient and made sure they felt safe. After two lessons they have gained confidence and are keen to keep surfing. I'm off to buy two 7' soft boards. Thanks again guys. It's been a great experience.

Valentin was the best instructor ever!!! He was so helpful and attentive, everyone in our class was able to stand up and ride the waves it was AWESOME! He gave us so many great tips, we can’t wait to surf again!!

I have never surfed before and this was the best experience I could have imagined for my first time! Hannah was a fantastic instructor and so incredibly patient with helping me the entire lesson. The two hour lesson was perfect for a beginner and it was nice having a smaller group to get to know each other and have enough 1:1 time with the instructor. I can't recommend this course and instructor enough!

Had such an amazing time during the lesson!! It was my first time surfing. Valentine was our instructor and he explained it very well. We were all able to stand up on the board. He was also very relaxed, patient and gave good tips. Definitely would recommend!!

I had a great 1-1 lesson with Valentine, I'd book more if I lived nearer! I did a group lesson in Sydney a few years ago and came away exhausted and feeling like I hadn't learnt much. This was a totally different experience, although I was still exhausted! I was nervous a 1-1 would be too intense but Valentine catered to my pace, he was fun and encouraging and taught me a lot. I'd definitely recommend doing a 1-1 lesson with these guys, I had a great time!

All classes need to be booked.
Surfing lessons will not be cancelled due to rain, but maybe cancelled if the conditions are deemed to be dangerous, or if the surf is too small to run a class.
All customers will be given a refund or a credit if the class is cancelled.
Refunds will be given to clients if they cancel their lesson, and providing they give Go Ride a Wave at least 24 hours notice. If clients fail to arrive or cancel on the day, then they will forfeit their payment.
All customers must complete a booking form either on the web or before the lesson, and sign the assumption of risk form prior to each class.
Kids prices apply to customers 17 years and under on the day of the class.
Package classes must be taken within one calendar year of the date of the first class.
Vouchers must be redeemed within one calendar year of purchase.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation.
Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Contact us by phone to cancel or enquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
