Personal Identification: Make sure that you and everyone in your group has a valid government-issued photo ID on arrival at the drop zone on the day of your skydive.
Age limit: By law the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. If under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must be present on the day of the jump.
Weight Requirements and Surcharges: Weight is an important factor in Skydiving and Aviation. It affects aircraft weights and balances, fuel allowances, climb rates and equipment maintenance. Once at the drop zone, all customers are subject to a weight assessment by a Tandem Master.
What should I wear: We recommend loose, casual clothing with fully enclosed shoes, such as running or sports trainers. Hiking boots and high heels are not appropriate. *PLEASE NOTE* Due to COVID-19 we currently cannot offer any shared clothing. Please ensure you bring your own fleece/jumper and long pants, if it's cold.
Medical Conditions: Skydive Australia must be notified prior to the jump date of any pre-existing or existing medical conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will also be asked when you check in and may require an assessment from our Safety Officer. Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. If required, bring a medical certificate with you from your doctor confirming you are okay to participate in a skydive. Please advise SA if you are taking prescription medication. It is our obligation to inform you that if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or blocked sinuses on the day of your skydive, it may potentially lead to further health complications during or after your jump, and we urge you to proceed with caution.
Consumption of Alcohol or ‘Recreational’ Drugs: No alcohol or “recreational” drugs are to be consumed within 8 hours prior to the scheduled skydive jump time. For the safety of all customers and staff, SA reserves the right to refuse customers who are suspected of being intoxicated or having impaired judgment, and this does not constitute a claim for a refund.

a month agoWent with skydive at mission beach and it was amazing !! Big shout out to Brett - he didn’t keep me calm but instead gave me so much energy for the jump - the experience was unreal. What a legend, I can see how he’s been doing it for 23 years. We had the best time! Two second rule!! Thank you 🤍

a month agoIf you choose to do a Tandem Skydive I suggest you go to Mission Beach. One of the most scenic and beautiful areas for skydiving and in general. Very professional staff, Thanks too Mandy receptionist who communicated very well regarding safety and weather. Thank you too Austin (Tandem Master) for the most enjoyable jump. Remember if its cloudy out there you will always see the sun on the other side. Happy Dayz 🪂

The team were all so lovely with the lady in reception going above and beyond to fit us in and especially my guy Brett! He made me feel so relaxed, he was very chatty and thorough with his prep talks that went a long day before hand! I knew I was lucky to have been paired up with him and it’s so lovely to see how many times he’s been shouted out on here- he deserves the recognition for topping the experience off !
