3 months agoMichelle is an absolute treasure of a tourguide. She knows the terrain like the palm of her hand and knows so much about the wildlife and plants and she is so genuinely interested in everything she talks about! The tours are very well-rounded and offer filling meals with local treats. Even as you're on the bus she explains some of the scenery and lets you in close with Mackay's surroundings and history. We did both the platypus tour and the sunrise with the wallabies tour with her and we only wish there were more tours because I would simply love to explore the whole area with her as a guide :)! Would seriously recommend doing the tours with them. Thank you for the great times and taking great pictures of us!

3 months agoI highly recommend this tour. Michelle is not just an amazing guide but a sweet person. She made this whole experience amazing and I really appreciate it so much. We had the opportunity to see a lot of wallabies and take beautiful photos as well. Also, we had a couple of trails which were not challenging at all but offered amazing views and knowledge about the place (she knows the place as the palm of her hand!). Finally, we had a rewarding breakfast, all made with love by Michelle of course :).

2 weeks agoWOW!!! I had an unforgettable few days with Mackay Adventure Tours. Michelle is one of the best tour guides I've ever had! She was so knowledgeable of the area, environment, and wildlife. And so attentive to her guests. Her passion for platypuses made the already amazing experience that much better, I loved learning so many fun facts! | genuinely loved every minute of her tour and couldn't recommend it enough. The Sunrise with the Wallabies tour was also incredible! Watching the sun come up as the wallabies hop along the beach was such a unique experience. Cape Hillsborough is one of my favorite beaches on the whole east coast, it's absolutely stunning. A 10 out of 10 for these tours and Michelle!

3 weeks agoSuch an excellent tour!! Michelle is an extremely knowledgeable guide and made all the activities and bus rides such a lovely experience. Amanda was super welcoming and made us feel at home. The hostel is very clean (probably the cleanest one I’ve ever seen), cozy, and relaxing. The whole Mackay Adventure team does an excellent job
