A tandem skydive is when two people leap out of a plane strapped together throughout the dive The person at the back is the trained instructor who guides the second skydiver at the front through the entire jump. This encompasses the exit, free-fall, piloting the canopy and landing. The instructor is always a licensed skydiver with a high degree of training and experience.
