NOTE:
Generally we require a minimum of 6 paying passengers per tour. Quack'R'Duck will always endeavour to schedule our tours to maximise the likelihood that we exceed these minimum numbers.

What's included?

Tours take about 1 Hr and 5 minutes on average. 45 minutes of this time is spent on the water.

What To Bring:

A camera at hand with an attitude of excitement, anticipation and discovery is always great to have.
On hot sunny days it is always wise to wear sunscreen and a hat. A bottle of water is also worthwhile taking with you.
Although we do have jackets on board, on the colder winter days it is always good to bring warm clothing.

Location

Boarding time is 15 minutes prior to the tour times.
If you are out and about on the streets of Surfers Paradise you can book a tour at one of our 2 tour desks right up to the tours boarding time.
Departs from the Quack’rDuck Piazza Tour Desk, Cnr Elkhorn Avenue and Orchid Avenue, Surfers Paradise.
Parking is available at the Cypress Avenue Car Park. For around $2 per hour you can leave your car at this outdoor council carpark while you embark on your Quack‘rDuck adventure.

I just got off this bus-boat and immediately wrote a review. The whole family - teenagers and parents - had a lot of fun from the trip. It’s amazing in itself when the car starts to float. But plus a wonderful guide and a nice driver, a lot of interesting facts about the surrounding area, cute jokes, duck tattoos as a gift. You can buy nice souvenirs quite inexpensively. Many of us bought a whistle that quacked, and we all laughed a lot from this quack. And I would like to especially mention a very pleasant playlist during the trip. In general, I advise everyone to definitely treat themselves to this activity. Quack-quack!

We had a great time on Quack'rDuck. We have been on a similar bus/boat in Rotorua New Zealand which was fun, so was excited to try this one too and was not disappointed. Interesting commentary, friendly staff, bus was nice and clean and comfortable. They looked after our pram in their office for us, and they had some super cute souvineers to buy on board, my kids wanted it all! Our children aged 6,4, and 9months all happily sat for the duration of the trip, so great for all ages!

I went on the tour with my friends this past weekend and it was fantastic!! It was an excellent and highly enjoyable tour! I got to capture some wonderful photos os the city, and I had a blast with the jokes from our guide Lucas, who also shared a lot of knowledge about the city’s landmarks. It’s a must-do tour!

Babies 0 and 1 years old are required to be held on the parents lap at all times.They also go on the tour free of charge.
Strollers can be securely parked next to our tour desk at the departure point on Elkhorn Avenue.
You are not likely to get wet and swimmers are not required. If the wind is quite strong and blowing towards you it is always possible that a few drops of salt water may reach you, but this is not common.
We do not provide any food, nor do we permit food to be consumed onboard. We encourage you to bring a water bottle on board with you.
You are free to choose where you sit upon boarding the Quack'R'Duck Bus. If however the tour is full and you are the last to board you may have to sit in the remaining seats.
We may be able to rearrange seating but we do not guarantee that you can sit in your group. The best policy is to arrive on or before boarding durin busy times.
If the weather is significantly wet and windy the master of the ship may decide to either cancel or postpone a tour until the weather clears up for reasons of safety. The Gold Coast is subtropical and rain cells normally last for around 20 minutes before clearing up again.
Quack'r'Duck does not have wheelchair accessibility.
We do not allow pets on board. Only registered service dogs may board the Quack'R'Duck tour.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your booking with full refund we require at least 48 hrs notice. Within 48 hrs and 24 hrs of your tour we can reschedule your booking free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking will not receive a refund. If you do not turn up for your tour on time it is up to the discretion of Quack'r'Duck on whether we can reschedule your booking for another day. This will not happen during the very busy seasons. So please ensure that you arrive at our departure point in 7 Elkhorn Avenue at least 15 minutes before the stated departure times.
Quack'r'Duck reserves the right to cancel or postpone a tour due to bad weather, bus mechanical issues or for any other reasons.
In such cases either a reschedule or full refund is offered - which ever suits the customer wishes.

How to redeem

Your voucher(s) and booking information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive shortly after purchasing the experience on Amazed.com.

If the booking needs to be first confirmed by the host, you will receive your Amazed voucher within 24-48 hours of purchase.
