Our expert instructor will explain and guide you through the features and functions as you travel for almost 30 km on various fantastic roads. This experience is available on weekends between 8 am and 4 pm. We recommend allowing several weeks of booking notice for this popular experience. Depending on availability, helicopter trial lessons may not be available immediately after or before the drive experience.
Driver must be at least 30 years old, and full driving licence (3 Years minimum) must be held. Restrictions vary but as a guide, minimum height is 4'11'' - 5'2'', maximum 6'5'' - 6'6'' and maximum weight 105kg.
Your driving experience and/or Helicopter Trial Lesson may be cancelled and rescheduled (at no additional cost) at our discretion in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain, hail or high winds) which would make driving dangerous.
Driving time is around 30 minutes in total. Flying time is about 30 minutes in total. Expect to be at the drive experience for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the scheduled booking time, including an instructor briefing and associated paperwork.
Spectators are welcome, although passengers are not permitted on this experience due to there being only two seats in the vehicle. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Passengers are not allowed on the helicopter trial lesson though spectators may watch landing and takeoff.
Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes, no thongs, please.
