Each expedition is supervised by a certified Master Reef Guide, recognized as the world’s leading reef guides, interpreters and storytellers sharing the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
Each Master Reef Guide is also a certified PADI Dive Professional. Safety is our number one priority, and we enlist only the best PADI Professionals to guide our participants.

Bring, hat, sunscreen, bathing gear, sunglasses, towel, etc., as you would for travelling to the beach. We have credit card facilities on the boat.
This exclusive program is designed for certified divers with a true commitment to protecting our precious marine ecosystems.
With the exception of extreme weather conditions – this program is guaranteed every week.
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATION POLICY
- We have a very generous cancellation policy that allows you to cancel or change (subject to seating availability) up to 24 hours before travel. After this time, there is a 100% cancellation fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GROUPS OVER 10 PASSENGERS
- If cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to arrival, a full refund applies.
- If cancellation occurs 7- 13 days prior, a 50% refund applies.
- If cancellation occurs 7 days or less, a refund will be at Management’s discretion.
Passions of Paradise reserves the right to cancel the day tour due to poor weather conditions, mechanical problems or use another vessel, or travel to different reef sites.
Your voucher(s) and booking information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive shortly after purchasing the experience on Amazed.com.
If the booking needs to be first confirmed by the host, you will receive your Amazed voucher within 24-48 hours of purchase.

a month agoThe best experience in Cairns! From start to finish, the team’s enthusiasm was infectious. Coupled with professionalism and know how that made me feel safe. I’m not a confident swimmer, but passions of paradise made me feel comfortable in the open water. Big shout out to Drew who took me down for my first scuba dive, couldn’t have gone better. The boat itself is speedy and spacious with enough food to fuel you for the day. If you want to experience the Great Barrier Reef, this is the team for you!

a month agoWith so many tour companies to choose from, I can not express enough how happy I am that we chose Passions! The boat, the crew, and the food was absolutely amazing! My husband and I did our intro dive, and our instructor Andrea made us feel so safe and showed us the best time. You can tell that the entire staff really all love what they do!

5 months agoWonderful experience! Boat was clean and plenty of seating. Loved the cushions outside to lay out during the trip to and from the reef. Ben was the perfect dive instructor, helping me feel comfortable as it had been awhile since I’d been diving. I’d highly recommend this company to friends and family. Lunch was served between dives and plenty of food was available. They had seasickness pills on board, they worked great for me as the boat was rocking a lot but they were there to help others who were getting seasick.

Having worked in the charter boat industry, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the crew. Special thanks to Simon for facilitating an awesome intro dive and making me feel safe throughout the process. To the awesome photographer (didn't catch him name but it was 21/12), Erin for the good snorkel spot reccomendations, and Russel for the inspiring marine biology talk.
