On this flight you will see Brisbane, the Gold Coast Hinterlands, the beaches of South Stradbroke Island, Sea World, the Spit, the iconic Q1, world famous Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and everything in-between.
Taking off from Archerfield Airport, your helicopter will soar to 1000ft/300m above Brisbane. Your flight will begin to track straight towards University of Queensland at St Lucia. There we will request clearance from Brisbane Centre to enter controlled airspace around the city. Below you will see, the Gabba, South Bank’s Streets Beach, the convention centre and the Story Bridge. As we complete the orbit we will track slightly west to have a closer look towards Mt Coot-tha, Government House and the Suncorp Stadium. Next are the islands of Stradbroke. To the east, the Pacific Ocean; to the west, the Gold Coast Hinterlands.
We will then continue south-bound for a little longer, past the Spit, Q1, and Broad Beach. This is where we will descend down to 500ft/150m to get a different perspective of the city. The flight back will take us further inland, past Southport and Dream World before landing back at Archerfield Airport. Total flight time of around 1hr.

Air-conditioning is standard across most of our fleet, something that most of our competitor’s aircraft do not feature.
What happens on the day?
It’s surprisingly straight forward. The helicopter is yours – you are not relying on anyone else to turn up, thus no chance of a cancellation due to a no-show. We advice to arrive 5-10min before your departure time. Your pilot will greet you at the lounge, and walk you to the air side of the historic Archerfield Airport. There we will have plenty of time to show you around our helicopter. Once the safety brief is complete, it’s time for the photos. Your pilot will guide you into the helicopter, make sure everyone is seated comfortably and start the aircraft. The run-up checks usually take only a couple minutes (sometimes a little longer if it’s cold or Air Traffic Control is busy). We then fly the path shown above. After landing we shut down the helicopter and give you more opportunities for photos and to answer any more of your questions. Finally we walk with you back to where the experience had begun.
In case you can no longer make your flight on the day and would like to cancel your flight, a 50% cancellation fee gets deducted from the total refund amount.
If you would like to reschedule your flight we ask that you do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Within this window our full refund policy applies.
On the day if deem the conditions to no longer be safe to fly, Bekaa Air customers can either reschedule to any other day or receive a 100% refund. If the weather is marginal (aka safe to fly but degrades the experience, eg when it’s raining) we can offer full refund or to reschedule your flight to an other day.
We can not offer any refunds for no-shows.

7 months agoWas lucky enough to be bought a gift package for a wonderful 1 hour private tour for two. Our pilot took us along the coast and the city. He was so informative about the locations we saw. Super friendly too. The helicopter is very special as it has glass doors from top to bottom, meaning you get the best views possible. Highly recommend for an overall fantastic experience.

a year agoThe crew at Bekaa Air were amazing. We celebrated an anniversary with a helicopter winery tour. Everything was taken care of, the team were very helpful, constantly making adjustments to make sure our day was as near to perfect as possible. Communication from the pilots leading up to the trip was excellent, we had nothing to do except turn up and drink wine. Our pilot Naomi was amazing offering great insights into the working of the helicopter, trivia about the wineries, and just being a very knowledgeable tour guide. For us this was a quite extravagant experience but it was well worth the money. We cannot wait for another opportunity to do another helicopter tour with Bekaa Air.

a year agoWe had our flight and were so keen we arrived extremely early. We sat in the air-conditioned lounge and watched a number of planes and helicopters coming and going. Perav arrived and took us to the helicopter and gave us a thorough safety briefing. Then it was into the air and the fantastic views you get because of the extra large perspex doors and windows. We flew over many suburbs, the city and Mt Cootha. I t was fantastic to look at the city from a different perspective and great views. Perav gave us a running co.mentry and answered the questions we asked. I highly recommend this to any visitor to Brisbane.
