With fun activities such as fishing, yabby pumping, mud crab catching, and Pelican feeding, this is a cruise for all the family to enjoy.
Throw a line and see who catches the most fish on the day. Get your feet wet and walk on the sandbars and shallow waters to pump yabbys. Help pull up the crab pots and see if we caught any mud crabs, then enjoy a short, interactive show on the mighty mud crab.
Catch your breath and sit back and enjoy a morning tea while you cruise the beautiful waterways of the Terranora lakes. The last stop is the pelican feeding show; this is a great photo opportunity also an amazing chance to get up close to this huge bird of our waterways.

a week agoGreat day out. Great commentary of local history and feeding birds. Food was amazing! Our seafood was so fresh and the local made relish was fabulous. Service was fantastic. My only advice for improvement would be to have water finger bowls and extra napkins to clean hands after pealing prawns. Highly recommend and will try the bush Tucker cruise next time.

a month agoWe were welcomed into the cruise vessel and given our allocated seats and table where we were offered coffee or tea and biscuits and cake. The captain then started to describe the Tweed River and gave us an interesting potted history and informative overview of the section of the river we were cruising on. We were also able to go up to the fully covered top deck and get great views of the embankment and surrounding areas. At one stage, scraps of fresh fish were thrown into the air for various nearby birds to catch, which gave us the opportunity to photograph them close up. We were then offered a delicious cold platter, specifically catered to our personal dietary needs and we were able to buy drinks to complement it. All in all, it was a delightful, relaxing three hours on the water, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

a month agoThank you Tweed Eco Cruises. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip today. The Captain and Crew excellent. Bird feeding, lunch, beautiful cruise up and down the river. Cold cuts lunch, (prawns glorious) tea, coffee, date loaf. Parking at the jetty free. Check in at the office before boarding. Highly recommend. Take in the local information, sit back, enjoy the beautiful river and scenery.

3 months agoThankyou Eco Cruises. From the booking to the cruise, I found office staff and Captain and the crew to be absolutely fantastic. We were an art class of 24 people, some who have never been on this cruise before and couldn’t give enough accolades to the trip. The morning tea and lunch were fantastic. No birds, but it didn’t worry us. For those who haven’t done this cruise, please book and you’ll never regret it.👍
