Looking to start your surfing journey? Join in with other locals on our fun and safe two hour beginner class.
Surfing in small (max 6) supportive groups you will learn all of the surf basics including; warm up, paddling, catching waves and standing! All equipment and expert instruction is included in the lesson price.
It is the perfect time to start something new, challenge yourself and become a surfer. The professional team looks forward to showing you the amazing benefits of surfing, including fitness, fun, mood booster and a way to spend some time in nature.
Private Lesson:Hone your surfing skills with extra attention from a dedicated personal surf coach. Whether you’re an individual determined to get up on that wave, a group of friends wanting your own personal surfing experience, or a more experienced surfer needing feedback on technique, our private surf lessons give you that extra attention to detail and a dedicated coach to work with.
In your surf lesson your own personal surf instructor will set some goals, determine your current level and structure the lesson around your ability.
NOTE: This course is for adults, you must be over 12 years to book in.
Price includes all equipment; surfboard, wetsuit, rash vest, sunscreen and zinc.
We are located in the middle of Maroubra Beach. Opposite the Maroubra Seals Club and behind the Maroubra Surf Club.
We surf in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson. If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers to other people, or cancellations.
If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean forfeiture of that lesson.
Your voucher(s) and booking information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive shortly after purchasing the experience on Amazed.com.

4 months agoI had no surfing experience but had a fantastic time at the beautiful Bondi Beach this past week. I managed to stand up on the board for more than a few seconds by the end of the lessons! I took three two hours lessons with respectively Joey, Maria and Ben. Each instructor had their own style and were equally helpful. Loved Joey’s positivity, Maria’s thorough instructions and Ben’s detailed, technical pointers. Thanks for running such awesome surf classes! (p.s. Bondi was much less crowded for my two weekday lessons compared to my Saturday lesson, but it was still conducive to beginners learning on Saturday)

a month agoAmazing experience! Both our instructors Mitch and Jessie at Bondi beach were absolutely awesome! Super helpful, fun, very informative tips, attentive to all and explained everything in detail! Me and my friends were all able to stand on the board during our very first lesson! 4 months agoNumo our instructor was fantastic, he made every wave a fun experience. All staff were amazing, and thank you Sue for organising a taxi for me! Would recommend that everyone gives surfing a go! Especially here with LGS at Bondi Beach!
