Join us at our creative studio in Redfern for this fun and creative class. Begin by looking at a few examples of earrings to find some inspiration, select your colours and start the process of making your own earrings. After rolling out your clay, Emily, your teacher will show you a few different techniques to create different effects.
Enjoy the process of being hands-on with the clay, creating simple or statement earrings. After you have completed your clay pieces, they will cure in the oven. Pizza will be delivered for the duration of the break, this is when you'll sit back and relax, sipping on your BYO beverage. Once the clay has cooled, you will assemble your pieces.
We estimate that each individual will have enough time to create 2 pairs of earrings, depending on the level of detail you include in the design.

This class requires a minimum of three participants to go ahead. In the event minimum numbers are not reached, we will contact you with alternative dates to reschedule your booking.
Covid–19 Policy
Our classes will go ahead as planned unless we are required by the government to close our studio. If we are required to close, we will be in touch to reschedule your session with as much notice as possible.

a month agoHad a great time recently with Dani at Sydney Creative for my Hens party. Me and my bride tribe did the textured paint and sip class and it was great fun. Dani was patient, accommodating and helpful while we got in touch with our creative side to create some masterpieces. This class was a great opportunity for some of my friends to get to know each other before my wedding. Overall I would highly recommend this for a great group activity and look forward to going back for some of the other activities/classes for future birthday celebrations.

6 months agoHad a fantastic beginners sewing class with Sophie making a cushion. Very well taught and well paced! Didn’t feel rushed at all and the whole class had chances to ask questions and get feedback. Sophie was a great teacher! Keen to enrol for the next level

2 weeks agoI had a great time learning to sew again in the beginner’s sewing class (last time was in high school) many moons ago. Sophie was supportive, kind, patience, every step was explained clearly. We had 3 hours from start to finish a cushion cover, I love that you get to select your own fabric, hot beverages included which is nice to warm up when it’s a cold and rainy day. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try and pick up a new skill.

a year agoI highly recommend Sydney Creative. I have enjoyed 2 lessons so far at Sewing & Alterations for Beginners. I have purchased a sewing machine from Sophie & am super excited to start using it. It's been a great experience and good skills to pick up. I walked away learning how to make a non zipper cushion, alterations on different fabrics and picking up good habits when using a sewing machine. I look forward to attending more lessons in the future. Thank you Sophie & Team
