We did a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride and this was the first thing we did when arriving in the Hunter and it was honestly one of the best! We ended up with a carriage all to ourselves by chance despite it being a Saturday Morning! So lucky! Our driver Rod was the nicest man - so great to chat to and learn about the local spots from! We got to go too 2 wineries a cheese shop and a chocolate shop (tasting all included in the cost) as well as take a leisurely ride through the bush and through vineyards. We also got to ride on the road with cars which was unexpected but very very cool! The horse were so lovely and I cannot over state how much fun we had! It is worth the cost and I would do it again 100% when we come back and recommened it to all!

Our ride with Laura and Keeley was an exceptional experience! Me and my 3 girlfriend had an amazing time and would definitely recommend. They were very knowledgeable and took our experience into account. They were able to maintain our safety and were extremely welcoming. Couldn’t recommend them more :)

This horse riding experience was absolutely amazing! The workers were so lovely and gentle when picking the horses to match each of the riders and gave us all a brief so we felt comfortable and anytime someone begun drifting off the path, the workers gave positive re-enforcement and guidance to help the rider get back on track. They chatted about each of the horses by sharing their ages, how they are trained and the race name along with their stable name which really made the experience feel more personal and thoughtful. I cannot wait to go again soon and is an experience I would 100% recommend for first time riders or just anyone wanting to have some fun!

Super safe and great introductory ride. Macca really warmed up towards the end when we discussed mules, geep and all Things breeding. Ride was safe, great for beginners or those that haven’t ridden for years. Typically Australian with loads of rules and controls.

I done a 90 minute ride with a friend. Great experience with beautiful views and our tour guide was lovely. Would be great experience for people who haven't ridden a horse before or have had a fall off one and want some confidence back as these horses just walk extremely slow in a line like follow the leader. Is also a great way to take in the beauty of the Hunter Valley. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there's no option on trails for more than walking pace. If you're going for the views and to relax on horseback, this is a great place for you. If you are an experienced rider and looking to be able to enjoy the ride at more than a snail's pace this may not be the place for you. Id like to see them offer private rides with more pace (even a trot). I will go back again when i want to relax.
